    I spent a week at a fancy resort, on a little Island called St.Lucia. (which I had never heard of) Staying at a resort on a small Island was much like going back in time…to a plantation, where very wealthy, very white people are waited on and pampered by very black local people.

    Very few jobs on the Island except in the ‘tourist industry’. I’m still processing the experience.

    The nature part of it was quite beautiful.

    I spent one entire afternoon in the bathroom. Set a personal record for volume of liquid shit, and number of times squirting liquid shit. As well as ‘force‘ of liquid shit. I would suggest, if you ever go to a colonial, racist resort in Saint Lucia, to avoid ‘Creole Night.’

    I’m not sure it was worth it. I dont think I’m very good at traveling. For starters I cant use a bathroom on a plane. Instead, I shut down all my internal organs so that i dont have to stand up and walk down the aisle and go to the bathroom. Its a zen thing.

    I did learn that customs agents will let me bring a bag of rocks into the country, but not a can opener.

    So your story is a lot like America’s in Vietnam. You tried to attempted to use St. Lucia for your own selfish purposes, but had to make an embarrassing retreat.

    Maybe it had less to do with the Creole food, and more to do with what was added to the Creole food.

    Maybe the locals decided to strike back at their oppressors.

    The bread was very good. Better than the seafood.

    They kept trying to serve me things with octopus in it. I had to keep telling them to hold the octopus.
    I dont eat octopuses. I think octopuses should eat people.
