Season-high 24 pressures allowed, a 42.9% rate. Fair to say that has an effect on every facet of their offense, but it’s not injured guys’ fault they got injured. Pretty unlucky start.
They also could probably have rushed four like the Bills (entered game with 43% rate on non-blitz pressure), who sent no blitzes, but blitzed 25% of dropbacks in theory perhaps to take advantage of new personnel/noise/communication combo along embattled OL.
Maybe one of the best Stafford plays tonight, as line collapses around him. Steps way up, hits Kupp for 13 on fourth and 10.
Then he and Robinson can’t connect on a shot to the end zone, then nearly picked as the Rams get to the two-min warning.

Here’s what I’ll take away from this game.
– Rams moved the ball on a top 5 defense without much of their OL left remaining and with no run game established
– Defense held the 49ers to 17 points despite some big explosive plays
– It’s week 4 and they will get healthier.

It’s insane to think Brandon Powell has a bigger role in this game than Allen Robinson. He and Stafford just don’t seem to have any trust yet.
