This is a good one. There are a lot of “Farr/Simmons” moments, but that aside, they have been watching practices and have things to say about that.

Farr and Simmons have high praise for new DL coach Henderson, and in fact (according to them), so do the players.

Sebastian Joseph-Day making strides. Could be a competition at NT with Gaines and in fact, they just might have 2 players there.

They like the options and personnel packages in the secondary. This defense is faster this year than last year. They like their new additions and they like Marquis Christian. A lot versatility. That means deceptive packages…they can change up what individual players do. They expect even more of JJ.

Linebacker. They are interested in the competition at ILB (Kiser and Hager). They like Kiser’s focus.

Kupp looks like he will be just fine. Stats show how valuable he was and how much he was missed.

They talk about Allen and they like him as a physical player but he needs reps to get the mental side down. Farr talks about how important center play is to an entire offense, and it goes beyond just knowing the calls and making the blocks.
