September 16, 2019 at 6:06 pm #105166wvParticipantYeah, Waldman is always good. He’s analytical but he also just enjoys the layers of the game.
The bomb to Cooks is, as everyone has noted, about as beautiful as the long bomb gets. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a WR tracking with his head/neck back that far, for that long. And the fingertip catch. And the length of the throw. And the high arc. Are you kidding me.
Course they screwed up in the redzone, naturally 🙂

September 17, 2019 at 8:00 pm #105238znModeratorThe Rams wide zone play is their bread n' butter but defenses are finding ways to slow it down. The Saints played a 6-1 (4 d-line + the Sam and Will on the edge) like the Pats did. The Rams ran wide zone 3 times for 6 yards against this look. They don't like it. However.. pic.twitter.com/Tl2wvVpqoF
— Seth Galina (@SethGalina) September 17, 2019
All of a sudden those 6 line players are useless when the ball goes quickly outside. My pal @alltwentytwo tells me the Rams ran this play a total of 21 times in 2018. Now we see it 8 times in this game alone.

.@saints v @RamsNFL and the #Rams won the LOS. But appreciate @A_kamara6 and how he does his part to help in anyways possible. Not many rb’s wanna go poke @AaronDonald97 on your escape out of the backfield. Much appreciation for that man’s football IQ. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/0ukDvHiZGM

September 17, 2019 at 8:30 pm #105245znModeratorThe most impressive thing to me about Donald is his ability to beat the OG up the field when he's got inside help. The OG is supposed to attempt to force him inside but he's clearly not. https://t.co/FsB7jPCJSD

September 19, 2019 at 12:20 am #105295znModeratorDamn I love this play call so much. Rams been running a ton of screens to receivers the past two weeks, this is a play on it. Motion tried to indicate pre-snap cvg, Goff pump's the screen, linebacker in man bites, then #16 just misses the window to an open Cooper Kupp in the MOF. pic.twitter.com/l7eGq4Gswq

September 19, 2019 at 9:11 am #105302znModeratorSean McVay is the greatest, man. The Rams legit ran like 5 toss plays on this drive due to the Saints' alignment on defense (6 on the LOS, thank you @SethGalina). Finally runs a fake pitch and gets the entire defense flowing in wrong direction, creates easy pass lane for Goff. pic.twitter.com/k8GJc3keRF

September 19, 2019 at 7:14 pm #105312znModeratorWatching Malcolm Brown (@MallyCat_28) run is always a pleasure. His toughness was always there, but it feels like his vision and open-field ability/elusiveness have improved for sure. pic.twitter.com/e6HtJftR2v
