znModeratorTwo things,
1. Will he be on the active roster?
2 If he is, how much does he get used against Dallas?Yeah he’s going to be active.
The only alternative #2 back is a rookie.

Rams and Cowboys last faced each other in the playoffs on Jan. 4, 1986. Twenty days later, Sean McVay was born.

I know the ending sucks for @ChicagoBears fans but a huge takeaway from tonight should be your QB @Mtrubisky10 didn’t shrink to the moment, but rather rose up, and flat out BALLED IN THE 4th QTR, played his best ball when it mattered & made some big boy throws!
znModeratorThe #Cowboys defense against Top 5 scoring offenses (2018, Min. 2 games)

Rams will wear throwback uniforms Saturday against Cowboys, Rams announced.
znModeratorColts are the real deal. Rose after a slow start. The slow start doomed their media recognition. In that respect they are the opposite of the Rams, who began as media darlings and then got questioned.
znModerator#Eagles–#Bears: Sprint-out concept on the game-winning score. QB Nick Foles has to make this throw vs. Leonard Floyd on the edge. And he puts the ball on the upfield shoulder of WR Golden Tate. @NFLMatchup pic.twitter.com/c76n6kal7M

znModeratorMore than Lamar Jackson's bad game, the #Ravens offense faltered because of scheme failure and being outsmarted by #Chargers.

znModeratorWhat a bunch of interesting games.
znModeratorI am familiar with this debate from another angle, which has to do with old friends of mine who have long been determined activists fighting against animal extinctions (rhino, tigers, elephants), the main culprit being poachers who supply the chinese traditional medicine market.
I have to say I am completely in line with the 2nd article, which debunks the interest in TCM.
This is an interesting topic and if I get a bit of time I will probably copy both articles here so they are accessible for discussion.

So blessed to play in my 8th playoff game man I’m excited, 6-2 by the way so let’s keep the winning up. Going to be fun

I believe it was Bill Cowher on the CBS pregame who said “your strengths get you into the playoffs and your weaknesses get you out”. Never heard it before but man it’s so true. Ravens offense, Bears kicking game + offense and Seahawks conservative play calling.mark schlereth@markschlereth
When you think about in every wildcard matchup the Oline that played the best won every game. Oline the real skilled position!Rob Maaddi@RobMaaddi
Aaron Donald (20.5), J.J. Watt (16), Khalil Mack (12.5) combined for 49 sacks this season. ZERO vs. the #Eagles
znModeratorAlden Gonzalez@Alden_Gonzalez
Aaron Donald, the only unanimous All-Pro selection this year, is now one of just three defensive linemen since 1965 to be first-team All-Pro 4 times in his first 5 seasons. The others: JJ Watt and Reggie White.
znModeratorDallas has exactly the kind of defense that gives the Rams trouble. Including fast linebackers.

znModeratorAFC: I want the Chargers to beat the Patz because (a) who wouldn’t, and (b) the Chargers are a good story this year.
Then IND over KC cause IND has a defense so is more of a team. I just like them better. Mahomes is Mahomes but hey Andy, get a defense.
A Chargers/Colts championship game would be a good one.

Chargers utilized 7 defensive backs on 58 of their 59 defensive snaps Sunday, per NFL Next Gen Stats. They used 7 defensive backs 50 times in the regular season, which accounted for just 5% of their snaps. No team had used 7 DBs on more than 18 snaps in a game this season.
znModeratorWell that turned into a thriller.

Gotta love Lamar Jackson’s mental toughness. Challenge ahead for him is similar to Tim Tebow’s coming out of 2011. They built an offense for him, NFL will catch up to it, and he has to keep evolving. Tebow couldn’t. We’ll see if Lamar can.Evan Silva@evansilva
Fun late rally but painful game by #RavensSo many penalties, turnovers, mental mistakes

I’ll say it again… not “Same Old Chargers” and today is another great example. Chargers fans know better than anyone historically this is a game they lose. This team is different. Credit my guy Anthony Lynn.Bucky Brooks@BuckyBrooks
No excuses.. No.8 hasn’t played well but I also know that it takes awhile for young players to adjust to playoff games. We saw Watson struggle yesterday and we will see others. It’s part of the process. Baker, Darnold, Allen and Rosen will eventually get their shots and well seeMatt Waldman@MattWaldman

For those of you that are watching football for the first time today, that is called a touchdown. It is worth 6 points.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson scrambled on two called passes for a total of 32 yards. Outside of those two plays, Baltimore has 37 yards on 22 plays and a single first down.

I would say this game is a defensive struggle but the defenses really aren’t struggling at all. They are dominatingBucky Brooks@BuckyBrooks
Playoff pressure can be overwhelming for young players. Everything happens so much faster than the regular seasons.. The key for BAL is to stay close enough while No.8 shakes the butterflies and settles in.. That’s why the 1st Q is critical for young QB.. Think about HOU-IND
znModeratorDoug Farrar@NFL_DougFarrar
We’re all talking about Reid, Nagy, and McVay, and justifiably so. But Reich has done as much as any other play-caller this season to put pass defenses in a bind.
znModeratorBucky Brooks@BuckyBrooks
I guess people didn’t watch the @Seahawks all season. They played EXACTLY how they played all season on offense. The ran on 51% of their offensive plays during regular season.. That’s how they won in 2012-2014 and it’s what Pete wanted to get back to in 2018. That’s who they areAP NFL@AP_NFL
