So, bnw, are you saying that yes, man made global warming is going on, but it’s a good thing because it will help stave off the next ice age?

Not so fast… Maybe he is still secretly a Ram, and will intentionally sabotage the Pats D this week.

Or maybe he is a spy, but doesn’t realize it: During warm ups, Fisher will whisper, “Rosebud” into his ear. Then, during halftime adjustments, he’ll stuff Bellecheck into a locker, and then have no waking memory of doing so.

Either option, let’s leave him up there until after the game, just in case….

    4-7 suits them well.

Like some expensive French cologne that costs a lot but smells awful.

I think I called it in the “can they beat the Saints” tread that I was a feared this would be the first of many blowout losses.

    Hang on to your hats.

I’d vote to kill the animals AND the humans, on the off hand chance that the being making the demand was that pesky godling the Jews invented, the one that wanted Abraham to kill his only son.

He has a history of waffling, and if I called his bluff and said, “Kill the animals and the people”, maybe he’d relent and spare us all. Though he’d probably want at least one Ram; Case Keenum, maybe?

I’ve given up trying to figure this team out. I think it is poetic justice in a way that the only game they were never in was against the god awful 9ers.

Maybe this is a new beginning and from here on out they’ll just get blown out of games early and often…

Me? This is a case of little entitled fucks mouthing off all the hate and vitriol they leaned at their parents knee.

The chain has to be broken. It is possible, but it takes work. I NEVER heard my dad use the N word. Heard it from my uncles and cousins quite a bit, but never from him. I’d like to think that is one of the things that helped form me, and helped me to mold my children.

Just based on where I was raised and was subjected to, I am a racist; not by choice, trust me. I think and hope I have raised my children to be as color blind as is possible in the world we live in.

Racism starts at home. We can all stop it, or perpetuate it. Your choice.

I was going to quote the minister from Caddy Shack after he got hit by lightning, “There is no God!” but decided to be more general.

Before I swore off gods of all types, I was a fan of the Norse gods. I liked Tyr in particular. He was the bravest, and put his hand in Fenris the wolf’s mouth when he was bound. Once the wolf realized he had been tricked, he bit Tyr’s hand off.

I thought that was a lot cooler than all the “Prince of Peace” crap the nuns were preaching. Maybe I’m a pagan. Definitely a heathen…

Another thing they can do to improve ratings is to stop playing games overseas. How many people on the west coast got up at 6AM on a Sunday to watch that game in London? Not many I’d bloody well reckon, mate.

Nit, the game was in London, not Australia.

And, I think I did get up and watch the Rams / Giants game.

I’m coming to the conclusion that football is a stupid, brain damaging sport and we’re all fools to be watching it.

Sorry, bnw. I forgot you are also in the area. If it is any consolation, I’m sure the drought has NOTHING to do with any human induced carbon emissions. I mean, the whole idea is crazy, right?

Some people are claiming there are strange jets that have contrails that don’t dissipate, but instead form into weird structures that bind the moisture in the air.

Personally, I think that is nuts, but I’m not living somewhere where it hasn’t rained in 42 days…

OK, first, he looks like a total tool, but getting past that, he’s the boss; he gets to make the rules. I’m sure Donald would agree with him, because I’m sure he has run several if not all his companies in like manner. Agree?

    No, they don’t.

They did beat the Bills in Buffalo. Their running game with Forte has been better than ours and their D ain’t too shabby.

Ironically, I’m going to be at Met Life on Saturday for my son’s last marching band performance (The Yamaha Cup). I’m in the pit crew, so I’ll get to be inside the restricted area of the stadium. Maybe, as we’re pushing our props off the field and back down the tunnel, I’ll fake a leg cramp and go hide in the rafters…

Nah, it’s just Rams / Jets. maybe I’d do it if a real team like the Giants had a home game the next day.

Points taken and agreed it is a very large rabbit hole we don’t want to subject all these other good people to, so no more Roe v Wade.

I wish I could cancel your vote out, but I can’t. I’ll vote for Clinton, but whether I do or not won’t change the fact that Connecticut will go Clinton. NC on the other hand is a toss up.

As others here have stated, I’m voting Anti-Trump, not Pro-Clinton.

I’ve seen the needle and the damage done, Trump is more damage from my viewpoint.

BTW, X; are the mountains in NC still considered the Smokies, or is that just SC and GA? I have a sister who lives in Norther GA, and I flew into Spartanburg, SC and rented a car and drove. Frigging beautiful area; bootlegger heaven from what I’ve been told.

Best of luck to all of us.

You know what swings it for me?

The fact that the Republicans have to kowtow to the religious Christian right.

I was raised Catholic, and endured 12 years of Catholic schooling. I no longer claim to be Catholic or christian any more.

This country was founded on many great principles, not the least being separation of church and state.

X, you state one of the main reasons you voted for Trump was because of worries about Clinton’s Supreme Court nominations. Trump states he wants his appointees to overturn Roe v. Wade. You’re OK with that? Why?

I don’t think you have a uterus, I know I don’t; why do you think old white men need to control what goes on there?

So Billy, why do you hate God?

    Here are my reasons:

He threw us out of Eden because some bimbo ate an apple.

He trick assed Abraham into thinking he had to kill his own son, and then settled for a lamb.

He killed his own son (using his surrogates, The Jews).

Being the creator of the universe, “he” is more of a female, yet he insists on being called “he”.

“I am who am” he sounds like Trump!

I spent most of my childhood afraid of him, only to realize later in life that I should have been more afraid of his priests.

Belief in God has directly led to more death and destruction than anything else we’ve invented (to date).

I consider myself an everyday american (especially when it comes to flossing, and by that I mean once every two weeks). Nothing about Trump tells me he is going to keep us out of war. In fact, I think he would be more apt to get us into wars than most who has held the office. Especially stupid wars (which I know is an oxymoron).

Why do Trump supporters think that HRC hates the average american? Was it her push for universal health care when she was First Lady? I guess it all comes down to how you define “everyday american”.

When the dust clears from this election, and we get some historical perspective, it will be very interesting to see if this was the last stand of 20th century Baby Boomer politics. By 2020, whites probably aren’t going to be in the majority and more and more of the old guard will be dead.

I’m thinking (hoping) we’ll tread water from now until 2020 and elect a true progressive then. Of course, the Trump blue print is going to be honed and there may very well be a very strong populist / fascist contender. Just hoping the demographics will have shifted enough by then to swing the vote to the progressive.

War with a nuclear armed Russia is almost unthinkable, but, if the options are us at war with Russia and Obama president, or Trump as president, I pick Obama and war with Russia.

OK, not really because if we were ever in a shooting war with Russia, the chances become very high that a nuclear exchange would result, meaning the end of the world as we know it (same as a Trump win, but with more glowing).
