InvaderRamModeratorThe late throw from Goff to Cooks in the back of the endzone. Literally 1 second earlier and thats 7.
yeah. goff was late on that throw. at the time i was thinking he’s gotta get that out a half second earlier.
InvaderRamModeratorGoff played like the youngest QB to ever play in the super bowl. Still could see the talent.
i gotta believe that goff will use this and get better.
proud of him. look forward to seeing him play for years to come.
InvaderRamModeratori wonder what’s going on with todd.
i hope he’s ok.

InvaderRamModeratorSo many expected Super Bowl LIII to be an offensive shootout, but instead it was a schematic fight between two of the game’s best coaches
it was a good game. just wish it had gone the other way.
but belichick’s been coaching longer than mcvay’s been alive.
sigh.
InvaderRamModeratorYou mean me. We disagree, but that is no biggy.
ha. well me too.
and in the end it was probably a combination of factors, but an offense that high powered doesn’t get held to a fg by just not executing. belichick came up with a scheme, and mcvay couldn’t find enough ways to counteract it.
but he’s young. hopefully, he figures it out, but even if he does, it’s hard to get back to a superbowl.
just ask reid and payton.
InvaderRamModeratorGreat defensive game.
yeah. i thought it was a great defensive game.
rams did a good job on d.
belichick did a helluva job on defense, and their players executed.
InvaderRamModeratori don’t know billy. you might be right.
you might be right.
if the rams could have gotten the run game going, totally different game.
InvaderRamModeratorI blame McVay. He got a coaching lesson. imo
I still like him, but he will be a better coach next year.yeah. still proud of him, but he got schooled.
proud of the whole team. but they gotta learn from this. now i gotta wonder if whit comes back.
InvaderRamModeratori hate the patriots.
i hate brady.
i hate belichick.
but damn they outcoached the rams.
InvaderRamModeratorgoff was not comfortable. rams could not run the ball.
InvaderRamModeratorOh good.
hoping rams win and it’s too hard for whit to turn down the chance for another run.
but if it really is his last game, what a way to go.
InvaderRamModeratorchicken wings.
i’m not sure how hungry i’ll be though during the game. probably eat before the game starts.
InvaderRamModeratorso. watching nfl network. they show about 2 dozen pats fans mugging the camera and shouting.
they then go straight to 3 rams fans… THREE rams fans. yelling, “go rams!”
i hate nfl network.
InvaderRamModeratorjust saw that whitworth is contemplating retirement after the superbowl.
InvaderRamModeratorsounds about right.
i was actually expecting worse.
time to break hearts!
…
pats’ hearts that is…
InvaderRamModeratorit’s almost here!
i’m gonna be soaking it all in today.
even all the pregame build up.
i’m a total sucker!
InvaderRamModeratorrich eisen just guaranteed a rams win…
just start the game already.

InvaderRamModeratori’ve read explanations of tendinitis.
the reason being he still uses a stationary bike when he’s not playing. if there was structural damage that required some kind of surgery, the trainer would not have him on a bike.
i have no idea if that’s true. just repeating what i read.
InvaderRamModeratorenjoy the game. i know how you feel.
InvaderRamModeratorsnakes.
InvaderRamModeratorWell they need to keep Mannion, I guess.
His head is the same size as Goff’s.
w
van honest question. they can’t just bring a second helmet that’s fitted to goff’s head????
i do like goff’s demeanor though. seems to inspire his teammates too. although playing well also inspires them i’m sure. but the fact he doesn’t change from play to play. that’s definitely part of it.
still can’t believe they came back from double digits points on the road against a hof qb. just crazy.

InvaderRamModeratorPS: I think Bradford had the potential to be truly great. IMO, he just lacked a passion for the game, and often seemed listless to me, sometimes appearing almost defeated before the play even started.
i would disagree with that. no one keeps coming back from injury after injury like he has without being passionate.
my problem with bradford was he was very mechanical. just not very fluid. he had an arm but not much touch. his pocket presence was lacking. maybe even a little bit stiff.
goff on the other hand is very fluid. whether it’s throwing long or short or with touch. moving around in the pocket or rolling out. he’s just so natural at it. it’s beautiful to see.

InvaderRamModeratorI want the Rams to win, but I have no desire to watch NE play. I just wish it was someone else in the Superbowl.
it’d be like a double gut punch if the rams were to lose.

i don’t know of this has been posted yet. it’s narrated by dick vermeil.
another thought. donald’s gonna have to go off on sunday. just absolutely go off and make brady’s life miserable all day. just be in his face constantly.
that would be a great ending to a great season with aaron winning superbowl mvp. the best player in football leading the rams to one last victory.

InvaderRamModeratorfor the past week and a half i’ve been pretty relaxed. thinking about the superbowl but not really stressing about it.
but now the reality is settling in, and i’m getting more anxious every day. maybe i just want the game to start already. i don’t know.
i don’t know what i’m going to do if the rams lose. just want this team to win. it’ll just legitimize everything they’ve done up to this point. to get so close and not finish the job. that would be terrible. and who knows when or if they can ever get back. marino got to one and never got back again.
this is gonna be tough. not like going against the titans who were just as inexperienced as the rams at the time.
now it’s against one of the top 5 qbs of all time. if he wins this, maybe the best ever? maybe already the best ever? a head coach who is most likely the best football mind in the history of the nfl? two transcendent sports personalities. they’re not chasing a superbowl championship. they’re chasing football immortality.
oh man. this is the ultimate test for this rams team. beating brees and then brady? too much to ask of a team so young?

InvaderRamModeratorhere’s the entire episode.
again from the herd.
InvaderRamModeratori’d like to see donald get multiple sacks in this game. and multiple hits as well.
he hasn’t really gone off in the playoffs yet. he’s gotta be due.
InvaderRamModeratorWait…
Goff was born when you started following the Rams…
That means…
InvaderRam is the Avatar! He’s John the Baptist! He is the fulfillment of the thingy!
ha! well no actually it would have been 95. he was born 94. so no. false alarm! nothing to see…
InvaderRamModerator24. One wonders if Kurt was that good, at that age?
yeah. we’ll never really know.
he came in at age 27. most qbs peak starting at around that age.
wonder what goff will look like in his age 27 season?
