i agree and i think the oline has some potential to be even better than they were at the end of last season. lots of raw talent there to be developed.

although i do worry about left tackle.

i can just take comfort in knowing that the niners are in misery.

mahomes struggled a little bit. but shoot if he isn’t the best qb in the league.

i don’t agree with everything rogan says.

but i hope we aren’t so tribal. so fractured. that we can’t just accept our similarities and only focus on our differences.

i think a lot of this is manufactured by people who don’t want bernie to win the democratic nomination. i’m thinking most bernie supporters aren’t disappointed about rogan’s “endorsement”, and i’m thinking, if anything, it’ll sway more people toward him than from him.

also, i agree with that previous video where the guy said that hey. accept it. accept the people who may be swayed toward bernie and by accepting them, maybe a dialogue can be opened up where more change can happen.

i mean do we want to divide or unify?

I decided to dive into the numbers and see how Goff actually did this season when pressured. I found some interesting numbers that I might explore in more depth in another story.

According to SportRadar, Goff had a QBR of 54.7 when pressured. That ranked him 13th among all quarterbacks who generally were considered starters this season. That helps illustrate why a lot of fans and pundits can’t agree when it comes to Goff. That isn’t awful, but it’s not great, either. Also, Goff had a QBR of 74.4 when pressured in 2018, and he was sacked far more often in 2018 (33 times) than in 2019 (22 times). I’m getting a migraine just trying to process what it all means.

i wonder if a lot of that has to do with the run pass ratios going out of whack this season.

whether that’s due to gurley’s health or the oline or playcalling issues i don’t know.

what do you mean by contend? playoffs? i think they could make playoffs next year. if you mean a superbowl, i think a couple years at least.

I dunno. He had plenty of injuries/surgeries over the years. I can see how the Rams might not want to bet on him and give him a long contract. On the other hand he was such a solid and powerful player when he was healthy. I dunno. Turned out bad though. At least for one year.

Football is tricky. They bet on Gurley. Bit them in the butt. They didnt bet on Saffold. Bit them in the butt.

a lot of it depends on how noteboom would have done. no one could have predicted him getting injured.

although early returns weren’t looking the best.

and who knows? maybe 2 years from now we’ll have a completely different opinion on this depending on how the young guys do.

I’m conflicted. I can sorta see both sides.

yeah. i’m not sure where this came from.

did it come from mcvay. i assume so. how do we know if it’s the right decision? this isn’t some grizzled veteran coach. mcvay has three years experience. he’ll be 34 in a couple weeks. and i’m sure he’s consulted with family and colleagues.

this is the first time i’ve wondered if mcvay has made the right decision.

ultimately though they had to move on from sonofbum. maybe this was mcvay’s way of letting him down easy? i do think if he was still under contract that mcvay would have kept him.

yeah. not so sure letting son of bum go was the right move.

the rams run/pass ratio was out of whack. i don’t know what the problems were. oline. gurley. a combination. i don’t know if it was the reason the offense was sputtering or just a symptom. but the rams won’t succeed if there’s no balance.
