InvaderRamModeratorall kidding aside. he just comes across as very mature. mentally tough. just a feeling.
and that goes with all the freakish athleticism.
i think his learning curve will be a very steep but rapid one.
InvaderRamModeratorI’d love Cooper at 10. Love it. Good value there, imo.
well right now i’m wondering if one of kevin white or amari cooper starts falling. probably not to the 10th pick though.
i’d almost be tempted to trade up to get one of them.
InvaderRamModeratori have a good feeling about robinson. last year was a big learning experience, but i bet this guy works his ass off and comes into 2015 a totally different player.
InvaderRamModeratoractually scratch that. i would also consider drafting shaq thompson and making him a 2 way player at linebacker/safety hybrid and running back.

InvaderRamModeratori don’t know. i think st louis’ chances have improved. definitely improved. not sure by how much.
i do think spanos is kind of dumb the way he’s playing this though. it could bite him in the ass.
should be an interesting next couple of years.

InvaderRamModeratori gotta admit i’m fascinated with hundley. but i’d rather they trade down or get him in the second round.
but yeah. i’d love to see him on the rams.
InvaderRamModeratorif i’m picking at #10. assuming no trades. i’m going offensive line or wide receiver. those seem to be the stronger positions in this draft. maybe i’m wrong.

InvaderRamModeratorI was thinking the same thing. It weakens his argument considerably. He came out and said, “Both the Rams and Raiders left LA, so it’s mine, and the Rams can’t have it, but the Raiders can.”
It will be interesting to see if either Oakland or San Diego can come up with something now. They haven’t got much time. One thing is certain, Kroenke just pushed the boulder off the top of the hill, and things are moving.
well i’m thinking this could end up biting him in the ass. if kroenke pushes full steam ahead, can spanos get other owners to agree that a move for the rams is not a good plan but moving in with the raiders is? his only argument now stinks of bs. meanwhile continuing to negotiate with their respective cities will only delay matters while kroenke goes about building in inglewood.

InvaderRamModeratorwhat i don’t understand is spanos complaining about not wanting the rams to take away potential revenue from the chargers. and then he goes and agrees to go half on a stadium with his own division rival.
what’s that about?
anyway. for a long time i didn’t think it’d be possible for the rams to st. louis until i read this. st louis does seem to have a viable stadium plan when compared to oakland and san diego.
InvaderRamModeratormost likely smoke i would think. what linebackers would be worth taking early anyway?
February 22, 2015 at 12:15 pm in reply to: Grayson, Hundley, Petty, Carden etc. … the qbs this year #18867
InvaderRamModeratorbrett hundley blew this combine out of the water. i really really really want him on the rams.
by the way. not that it matters but hundley ran a sub 4.00 ss. wow.
also did well in the throwing drills.
InvaderRamModeratorhey. has anybody checked out kevin white’s measurables???
6’3″ 215 lbs 32 5/8″ arms 9 1/4″ hands 4.35 40 4.14 20 ss 36.5″ vertical 10’3″ broad.
holy moly! that’s explosion. ok if i had to nitpick, i’d like the arms to be a little longer and the hands to be a little bigger.
but rams are gonna have some options at the 10 spot.
amari cooper is also impressive. but he’ll be gone by the time the rams pick.
InvaderRamModeratorto top it off here’s a student film made by chris conley. star wars retribution.
InvaderRamModeratorthere’s this kid chris conley from georgia. 4.35 40 45″ vert and a 11’7″ broad. 33 3/4″ arms and 9 7/8″ hands.

InvaderRamModeratorfor what it’s worth.
carden measured in at 6’2″ 218 33 1/4 9 3/4. not bad at all. the quarterbacks are throwing right now.
InvaderRamModeratorwell again. i would say flowers’ time is very impressive given his size. right below greg robinson. joe thomas ran a 1.75 and he was over 15 pounds lighter than flowers.
InvaderRamModeratorhey! happy birthday!
InvaderRamModeratorhttp://walterfootball.com/combine2015workoutOL.php
After leading all of the offensive linemen in the bench press, Miami’s Ereck Flowers had a good workout in the field drills. Flowers (6-6, 329) had an unofficial 40 time of 5.29 and a 10-yard split of 1.78. That is a fast time considering Flowers is heavier than most of the top offensive linemen. In the field work, Flowers slid well while showing real power and shock in his hands in the pads drills. He did well in the mirror drill, but needs a little work to stay compact and not get his arms wide. Flowers is only 20 years old and is full of potential.
InvaderRamModeratori like cameron erving too. maybe the one guy who can play all five ol positions. that’s big. need guys like him and saffold.
February 20, 2015 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Chargers, Raiders propose shared NFL stadium in Carson #18799
InvaderRamModeratorinteresting. at this point it’s a race to see who can build a stadium first. if the chargers and raiders can get there first, i gotta believe the rams stay in st. louis. unless he decides to go rogue.
the only thing is it seems the raiders and chargers are still willing to work with their cities to work out a deal whereas kroenke seems to be going full steam ahead with his plans.
InvaderRamModeratorwow. flowers 37 reps with 34 1/2″ arms. that’s impressive. right tackle candidate. i seem to remember there was some buzz on this guy early on.
InvaderRamModeratorhttp://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/2/19/8072611/nfl-combine-results-2015-wide-receivers
amari cooper – 6’1 211 31 1/2 10
InvaderRamModeratorscherff. i was impressed. if the rams could trade down and pick him i wouldn’t be disappointed. big hands. decent arm length.
and more importantly he can play. i think he could be a great guard. like zack martin was.
InvaderRamModeratortight ends

InvaderRamModeratori for one would like the rams to take a real long hard look at hundley. he’s the only qb in this draft who seems to have real potential and who would actually be available to the rams.
he’s raw for sure. but i’ve heard good things about him from those who’ve seen him play.
February 16, 2015 at 1:02 pm in reply to: NFc West teams's sack percentage against the Rams, 2012-14 #18520
InvaderRamModeratorand this is in a division not known for their high volume passing attacks.
February 13, 2015 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Cignetti/Fisher press conference vid and tweets and stuff #18434
InvaderRamModeratorJT: “Another interesting thing: Rams plan to simplify offense reduce volume of playbook from Schottenheimer tenure.”
Interesting. I wonder if this is a “way of getting Tavon more involved”
w
vI listened to the press conference. They stressed that basically they wanted to get Tavon involved. They want to be sure they can execute the basics right. I think Bradford wanted Cignette. I don’t think they will trade up or reach for a QB in the draft. If a QB drops to them in the first round, who knows? I don’t think that will happen.
ok. maybe i’m wrong. still if it gets tavon more involved, i’m all for it. if he had problems digesting the playbook, then i’m a little disappointed that schotty didn’t do more to correct this.

InvaderRamModeratorthese are all good things. i like that they said they will simplify the offense. i don’t think it’s just for tavon. i think it’ll benefit the whole offense.
InvaderRamModeratoris it me or was that interview useless?
just a bunch of non-answers. although i guess i shouldn’t have expected anything concrete. doesn’t matter as long as there are real results on the field.

InvaderRamModeratori think st. louis gets an mls team in the near future. especially if they have that stadium project going. and i’m almost 100% sure that they end up with an nfl team. i think the nfl does want a team in st. louis. it’s a great sports town. i don’t think they want one in jacksonville. and that’s why i think that the jaguars end up going to st. louis.
