September 20, 2017 at 6:52 pm in reply to: First road game for G–informal poll on the SF game #74610HerzogParticipant
this game tells me much more about Goff than the first two. The first game had an astericks b/c it was Indy. The second had an astericks b/c it was too incestuous. If Goff performs well, on the road, than I’ll know that we have something. If he doesn’t, than there is still hope, but it’s like shit, here we go again.
HerzogParticipantRams: 28
niners:painHerzogParticipantSo, he’s saying that Goff does not go through his progressions. Hmmmmm
But. We know he DOES. We;ve seen it.
Not like a tuned in seasoned pro but what’s happening here is that one bad play is being set up to define the kid.
I just don’t buy that, based on what we have seen. I won’t be alone on this either.
Yeah, I agree with you. And it’s early in this offense. He needs games under his belt. I dont’ have a problem with the way he played so far…But it’s early, let’s see what he’s got against San Fran.

September 18, 2017 at 2:21 am in reply to: media on the WASHINGTON GAME…tweets, articles, etc. #74494HerzogParticipantWoods catches that passes, we are probably talking about how far Goff has come…his stat line would have looked so much better, and he probably wouldn’t have needed to try to force the ball into Kupp’s hands on that last drive. He called a reporter over, big deal. Catch the damn ball.
HerzogParticipantFumbles piss me off. I think players that fumble should be severely punished. Like have there fingernails ripped out or something.
HerzogParticipantMan, I can’t believe how bad Seattles offensive line is. It reminds me of tecmo bowl, when you called the correct play on defense.
I don’t believe Seattle is the best of this division.I honestly believe Donald hurt the defense today. I don’t care who you are, you can’t just miss all of training camp and mini camp, in a brand new defensive system, and just show up one day and do everything right. I wish he didn’t play as much as he did.
On the bright side, that means the run defense should only get better. I also think it was a Gruden thing. Hell son of Bums son is on that coaching staff…..you think they didn’t know how to attack this defense….they did.
This game, more than the first game makes me believe in this team. That is to say I believe the Rams are the best team in a weak division.

HerzogParticipantWoods catches that TD pass and we win this game. This is a decent team and we will only get better.
Gurley and Goff are the real deal.
HerzogParticipanti don’t know what’s obvious. what isn’t. i don’t know enough about football to say what the problems is.
i do know that he hasn’t had a productive game in over a year.
and my opinion is that the good rbs are able to produce despite their circumstances. meaning a poor line. poor passing game. whatever. steven jackson did it on piss poor offenses his whole career. i expected gurley to be at least as good as jackson.
but like i said. i’m giving him 5 more games.
I don’t know about that. Jerome Bettis sucked behind a bad Rams line. He had a hall of fame career behind Pittsburghs’
HerzogParticipantDoes he just ignore the holes that are designed In the play? I know offensive lineman were alluding to that last year.
HerzogParticipantWentz made it look like the Washington defense wasn’t getting to the qb…..they were, he just extended plays with his legs. It’ll be tougher on Goff for sure.
Rams defense is still better. Mcvay outcoaches Gruden….Rams score in the 20’s.I’ll say 20-10.
Donald and Brockers rule
HerzogParticipantThat’s more like it… Pittsburgh barely beat Cleveland…. Chiefs spanked New England
HerzogParticipantI agree, I don’t know how you don’t put the Chiefs at number 1
September 12, 2017 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Goff week 1 & after…have other Rams qbs thrown passes like the TD to Kupp? #74262HerzogParticipantFull disclosure: I did pick up Bradford on my fantasy football team after that performance
September 11, 2017 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Goff week 1 & after…have other Rams qbs thrown passes like the TD to Kupp? #74220HerzogParticipantI can tell you who it wasn’t….It wasn’t bradford
Are you watching him tonight? He’s been throwing lasers all game long.
I haven’t been able to watch the game… but my point wasn’t that Bradford can’t throw lasers…it was that he only throws them. Although I must admit I haven’t seen him lately
HerzogParticipantas poorly as gurley ran, he still had 96 total yards.
of course this was as shitty a defense as you’ll find in the nfl.
yeah. i’m just not sure about him at this point. i feel like more than several times he just lowered his head and didn’t even look where he was running when he could have easily bounced it outside.
of course later on he did bounce some runs outside only for an olineman or a tight end to get called for holding. so. who knows?
that’s a good point. He woulda had at least 25 more yards if it weren’t for the holding calls. Let’s stay optimistic. Just don’t understand how someone can be so good one yaer, and then…poof, it’s gone.
September 11, 2017 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Rams sign Hekker to 2-year extension, tying him to LA for 6 seasons #74187HerzogParticipantIn the Ram Pantheon
there’s Massey, and there’s Hekker.Or is it Hekker and then Massey.
I suppose that debate will never be resolved.
w
vIt still hurts. Can’t believe he’s gone.
HerzogParticipantI just re-watched the game (at work). Gurley didn’t really have a bad game….he just didn’t get a lot of running yards. That might be a Mcvay offense thing. Maybe he’s Roger Craig now.
September 11, 2017 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Goff week 1 & after…have other Rams qbs thrown passes like the TD to Kupp? #74173HerzogParticipantI can tell you who it wasn’t….It wasn’t bradford
HerzogParticipantRamigos? I just can’t get behind that one.
Is Todd Gurley the new Zack Stacy? Please discuss.
HerzogParticipantFirst, Pagano will be fired soon I’ll bet. You can’t put out a sound bite like that and keep your job.
Second, I think it’s time we think about extending Wade Phillips contract. Give that man a raise.
Third, The pass to Kupp in the endzone was a flash of brilliance. It was a thing of beauty. What I’m liking about Goff is that he throws the ball with adequate force. The ball is placed well, hard enough so that it doesn’t get intercepted, but still not more force than necessary, so that it’s catchable.
Fourth, Kupp is for real.
I really wonder what Jeff Fisher is thinking right now. Snead didn’t bring in a receiver worth a crap his entire time with the team. Soon as he leaves, we get three good ones. LOL
HerzogParticipantJoyner. I mean WOW. I don’t even know what to say….I am pleased.
September 11, 2017 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Greg Robinson played well for the Lions against the Cards yesterday #74156HerzogParticipantFigures.
HerzogParticipantAlso the world is just now understanding that the Rams can pass. That should open things up a bit
HerzogParticipantGood boy
HerzogParticipantPhillips feels good. Very good sign

September 8, 2017 at 3:22 pm in reply to: Audios/vids, 9/8-9/9… Watkins, Barwin, Howie Long on Goff #73902HerzogParticipantI don’t like that he was talking about other teams. In earlier conversations it sounded like he wanted to stay here
HerzogParticipantKc might be the shit this year
