AgamemnonParticipantJust got off Rams chat. So ICYMI, RB Isaiah Pead cut from active roster, replaced by CB Brandon McGee who was promoted to active roster.
— Jim Thomas (@jthom1) September 29, 2015
WR Nick Toon, as we mentioned yesterday, added to PS.

AgamemnonParticipantBeen a lot of questions about #Rams and WR Nick Toon. Toon expected to sign to team's practice squad today. Former Saints 4th round pick.

AgamemnonParticipantMyth: a cocoon and a chrysalis are the same thing. In fact, the chrysalis is a butterfly pupa, which is a hard skin which appears after the caterpillar’s final shedding of its skin when it’s attached to a leaf via a silk pad spun by the caterpillar. A cocoon is just a constructed silk casing used by moths and certain other types of insects.

AgamemnonParticipantWell, prepare for 1-4 because that is where this is headed.
I am looking for wins the next 2 games. 😉
We will get Quick and Pead back and Gurley will play.

AgamemnonParticipantTavon has actually shut me up this year so far. He has been a very good complementary player.
The problem is that so far there has been no one to complement.
Tavon and Givins have definately improved their play. imo
AgamemnonParticipantAnybody have anything to say about Gurley?
Didn’t look very explosive from
what little i saw.w
vI think that is how he runs. He accelerates through the hole with his eyes down field. He just kind of trusts that the first guy won’t bring enough to get him down. Today they got him at the ankles. I think he can adjust a bit or it simply won’t happen as often.
AgamemnonParticipantIt seems we come out and things are tough. We start playing better and get back in the game. Then we seem to get over excited and start going nuts and making mistakes.
Fisher’s strategy is to make less mistakes than the other guy. Fisher calls this a “Field Position Game”. Therefore any mistakes are magnified. imo

AgamemnonParticipantBasically Rams swapped out Gurley for Pead on active list. Pead was one of the Rams better coverage men on special teams.

Lots of questions about WR Brian Quick being inactive. Wrote this earlier this week, don't have much to add… http://t.co/dsREkwUt9j

AgamemnonParticipantGurley is indeed active for Rams.

Well, it’s only 2 typos.
Those aren’t typos, they are quantum tunneling. Te “n” ad te “h” ave all tueled to a differet reality.

AgamemnonParticipantTraditional Pittsburgh foods reflect the city’s multicultural heritage, especially that of the European immigrants of the early 20th century. While these immigrant populations introduced dishes such as pierogis to the city, they are now enjoyed by Pittsburghers in general. Other Pittsburgh food specialties were developed in the city. In general, these dishes are still popular because for many years, they satisfied the hearty appetite of the archetypal Pittsburgher: the hard-working, blue-collar steelworker.
The Slavic-American communities introduced the pierogi to PittsburghCabbage rolls –(aka Halupki)– Beef, pork, rice, green pepper, wrapped in cabbage and baked with sauerkraut and tomato soup or juice
Chipped Ham – (aka Chipped Chopped Ham) thinly-sliced processed ham, from Isaly’s since 1933
City Chicken – cubes of pork and/or veal baked or fried on a wooden skewer
Clark Bar – chocolate candy bar; developed in the city in 1886
Dozen Bake Shop – official cupcakes of the Pittsburgh Penguins, named best Pittsburgh bakery by the New York Post.
Essie’s Original Hot Dog shop – an Oakland staple since 1960.
Halušky – noodles with fried cabbage (Polish), or cottage cheese (Slovak).
Iron City Beer – native brew; with a shot of whiskey, a boilermaker; with a shot of Imperial, an imp-n-arn.
Italian sausage – with grilled peppers and onions.
Kielbasa – eastern European sausages.
Klondike bar – an ice cream treat made famous by Isaly’s.
Pierogi – Polish dish, pasta dough filled with potato and cheese, onion or sauerkraut.
Primanti Brothers – sandwich with fries and coleslaw in it.
Sarris Candies – chocolates and ice cream originating in Canonsburg
Teutonia Männerchor – Deutschtown (East Allegheny) German food.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_Pittsburgh
