AgamemnonParticipantUntil they say what goes into the GBR, it won’t mean anything. It is the equivalent of the Magic 8-Ball.
The QB position in the draft is like the rest of the draft, no real killer talent at the top, but a lot of good talent after that. imo
I am ready to move on from Foles. He was/is never going to be the final answer at QB. imo
There is no proof that Keenum is the answer or that Mannion is the answer. Although going with Mannion next year is fine with me.
If the right guy is there, in any round, I will draft a QB. If not, then I will draft a different position.
Maybe Foles has a miracle cure? Maybe there is another answer out there? Maybe we already have an answer? Maybe we just keep trying until we get it right?

So it appears St. Louis now has an "actionable" financing plan (on the public portion) to present to the league before the Dec. 30 deadline.

Plus, however many were called back because of stupid penalties.
AgamemnonParticipantI like Myles Jack. We need some OLBers. Right now, Mark Barron is playing one of the OLB spots, of course he is being called Weak Safety. Jack and Olgetree would be a great duo as OLBers.
Jack is a good player. What do you think about the offense? What would you like to see?

AgamemnonParticipantI guess my question would be: Is one of these āpotentialā guys any better than Mannion?
I would still love the Rams to grab a wide receiver. Iām not sure what theyāre going to do with the line. Theyāre in pretty good shape at running back.

I havenāt followed the college game at all this year so I have no idea about these guys.
I have heard that some teams are wary of Cook because of his attitude? A little cocky maybe?
Iāll have to trust the Rams this year. I canāt help them.
I like Mannion as much as anybody. Drafting another QB gives us another option instead of putting everything on Mannion. I believe we will draft a WR or two and a TE. The draft just is made that way this year. The OL is fine without the injuries. TBay’s OL is an example of that. They are the Rams but less injured. imo

Tbay starts two rookie OL and a off the street center.
AgamemnonParticipantI think it is a good year to draft a QB, maybe two. Because, there aren’t any Donalds or Gurleys or Coopers or any prototype position players. There are a lot of good players and I think any position is draftable. It is hard to do a draft and not come up with 5 good players. imo So, let’s get some QB talent and see if one of them is the guy we are looking for. There are enough out there that if figures that a couple will be good. imo

AgamemnonParticipantKelly says Foles doesnāt have the talent.. I donāt know if Kelly is right, but I do think he is biased.
Kellyās talking about having enough talent for his offense though, right?
Well, I think we all knew that Foles wasnāt as talented as Bradford. From a strictly ātalentā standpoint, there arenāt many better than Bradford.
What we thought the Rams were getting was a tough QB who could manage a ball control offense and take shots down the field with play action. And do it without gobbling up as much cap space as Bradford did.
But I think everyone knew that Bradford was more talented. That was a given.
Yeah, I think he might mean that Foles doesn’t have enough talent to be his No. 1 QB.

vI am beginning to think he might have a learning disability. That is pure opinion on my part, I would need to be a lot closer to the situation to really say that. Regardless, you can’t let one person hold the rest of team hostage.

Rams’ DE Quinn, S McDonald to have season-ending surgeries
1 hour ago ⢠By Joe LyonsAfter Wednesday’s practice at Rams Park, head coach Jeff Fisher announced that two of his better defensive players _ defensive end Robert Quinn and strong safety T.J. McDoanld _ will undergo season-ending surgeries.
Quinn, a two-time Pro Bowler, will have back surgery. He started the season’s first seven games, sat one week and then saw limited action in the team’s Nov. 15 loss to the visiting Chicago Bears. He has been inactive the last three games.
Even with all the time missed, Quinn is still second on the team with five sacks.
Playing through injury much of the season, McDonald has started 11 of 12 games, sitting out against Minnesota on Nov. 8. But a shoulder injury suffered Sunday against Arizona will require surgery that puts an end to his season McDonald is third on the squad with 80 tackles. He’s also recorded one sack, three pass defenses, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble.
āUnfortunately, we lost two really good defensive players for the remainder of the season,” Fisher said. āIt’s just an unfortunate part of the game…. But we’ll move on. It’ll give Maurice (Alexander) a chance to play (at safety), you’re going to get a chance to see Ethan (Westbrooks) play out there (at defensive end). It gives us a chance to play some younger players and get them some experience.”
The 4-8 Rams host the 4-8 Detroit Lions Sunday at noon at the Edward Jones Dome.
