    Had a conversation with someone who was with the Rams last season and talked about Foles.

    Nice guy.. other guys seemed to respond to his leadership.. has enough physical talents…

    And couldn’t fully grasp the offense. Said it got worse as the season went on. Simply thinking too much and locking up.

    Compared his performance to Schaub’s last year in Houston.. says Foles basically made his mind up where he was going pre-snap and when that option wasn’t open, he fell apart.

    Said Foles is smart.. and so are plenty of guys who just can’t seem to “think fast” once the ball is snapped.

    Also thought it was kinda crazy to sign him before he proved anything.

    It was weird signing him before he proved anything in the regular season. It was if by signing him Snisher was validating trading Bradford for him.

    The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.

    Probably it is easier to replace him than to fix him. If he is fixable?

    btw, there is no cap hit to cutting him. His money is already charged to the cap. (see cap web sites.)

    I didn’t want to sign him. But it wasn’t crazy either. Either had its upside and downside. The Rams just choose plan B. It was almost a coin flip. Hidesight is 20/20.
