The first episode of the Los Angeles Rams’ edition of HBO docuseries “Hard Knocks” won’t air until Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. ET. But filming for the show began in earnest soon after the Rams agreed to do the show and it was announced on March 23.
The Rams are now settling in to Los Angeles with film crews documenting every moment. That also includes interviews with the players, who began arriving last week before the start of the offseason conditioning program on Monday.
As we mentioned here after the show was announced, Rams defensive end William Hayes has all the makings of the show’s breakout star. According to now former Rams teammate Chris Long, Hayes has already begun the climb to stardom (not that Hayes is doing anything out of the ordinary).

Just got a call from William Hayes bragging about lying to hard knocks that he slammed me in the bushes in Vegas! I fell! For the record!
Long went on to say that Hayes probably didn’t tell the story of what happened on a different casino trip.

William probably didn’t tell hard knocks about the time I slammed him under a tree outside the casino + he spent the next hr feeding pigeons

Lies aside. William Hayes is the best reason to ever watch hard knocks.
Hayes does not have Twitter so was unable to immediately refute or corroborate Long’s claims but there’s no doubt he’ll get his chance to shine when the show begins airing in August.
