I am ok with who they drafted, but I would have drafted some of those guys. But, maybe we can get them as udfas.

After not drafting a tight end, I’ve got the #Rams adding three tight ends as UDFA in Keenan Brown from Texas, Romello Brooker from Houston and Kendall Blanton from Missouri

I think the 7th round always belongs to ST, pretty much.

Of interest to me…no more secondary in UDFAs. They’ve got 13 guys back there by my count, so I would have scratched my head if they added more especially since Rapp and Long are going to see the field this season.

Two C/OG which makes sense to me, too. Hopefully one of those guys pans out well enough to stick, even if just to the PS.

Not seeing any signs of urgency at the LB position. I guess they just have Matthews replacing Barron, and everyone one else returns as is. They appear to be counting on development of the young ‘uns, and perhaps with all this secondary strength, playing more nickle packages than not.

Could be. I just decided that between Rapp and Scott, I would make Scott the FS. The speed difference influenced me to plact them there. I am not sure Long should be a slot corner, but there is where I had space to put him. I am not sure I see Weddle as a FS. Maybe they consider them interchangeable?
However they describe Weddle and Rapp, I think they are going to play closer to the line of scrimmage than traditional free safety. imo

Webster had 84 receptions, 1379 yards and 11 touchdowns last year, as the Eagles lost in the FCS Championship to hated ND State.

Well, we’ll see. But I am betting that both Weddle and Rapp when he plays FS, are in the traditional deep middle safety role, with lots of variations.

I think they are both free safeties, and I don’t see them being box safeties with the Rams.

Though this year Rapp will be all over the place as the nickel safety.

I think they are both free safeties, and I don’t see them being box safeties with the Rams.

Though this year Rapp will be all over the place as the nickel safety.
