November 26, 2023 at 7:23 pm #147007znModeratorroberto clemente@rclemente2121today marks the just the 3rd time in their last 37 games that the rams offense has scored 4+ tds in a game – congrats rams!.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueBefore the Rams pulled most of their defensive starters with about 8:30 to go in the fourth quarter (where this group should be measured today), the defense held Arizona to 168 net yards and one touchdown, on AZ’s opening drive. And Wentz has his helmet on, ready to go in.Rams Brothers@RamsBrothersWalking away from today, thinking: what can’t Kyren Williams do? It’s the most complete performance of his career. Felt like prior to the injury, he was JUST missing — few drops, missed opp to break tackles, pass-pro, etc. All there today. Total RB1 performance..Rams Brothers@RamsBrothersWe know there are 37 points on the board, but we very much still have our eyes on you, Lucas Havrisik. Been flirting with that damn right upright all night! Leave her alone. She has a boyfriend..Stu Jackson@StuJRamsKyren Williams was asked on Friday if he felt 100%. His answer? “150%” Sure looks like it today..Rams Tapes@RamsTapesKyren Williams in both matchups against the Arizona Cardinals this season: 362 total yards + 2 wins.TurfShowTimes@TurfShowTimesWith 158 rushing yards in his previous start and 143 rushing yards today, Kyren Williams has the 4th and 5th-most rushing yards by a Rams player in the Sean McVay era.RAMS REPORT@RamsNFLReportKyren Williams with an amazing day in his first game back! That is by far the Rams’ most complete performance this season. First time they’ve won back-to-back games.A sign of consistency for this young Rams team?
Rams Brothers@RamsBrothers
The Rams were perfectly balanced today. Legitimately can’t get any cleaner. 33 passes (229 yards, 6.9 yards per pass) to 33 runs (228 yards, 6.9 yards per run).Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
Kyren Williams spent four games and five weeks on IR and decided to come back and just run gassers up and down the field.Sosa Kremenjas@QBsMVP
Looks like Tre Tomlinson’s hands are still too grabby just like they were in college

kyren williams
204 combined yards on the day.
5th most since mcvay has been rams head coach.today marks the 3rd time in 40 games as a ram that stafford has thrown 4+ tds in a game.

jordan fuller has been everywhere todayStu Jackson2StuJRams
Kyren Williams is the first Rams running back since 2015 (Todd Gurley II) to have back-to-back games with 143+ rushing yards.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
John Johnson getting early minutes alongside Jordan Fuller for the second consecutive week at safety. Morris and McVay noted he played his way into that role/took a little longer to get into game shape after missing the spring and summer. Today he’s starting.J.B. Long@JB_Long
Puka Nacua’s 27 today in Arizona elevates him into a tie for the Rams franchise record for rookie receiving yards. Nacua gets there in four fewer games than Eddie Kennison, who had 924 yds in 15g in 1996.Rams Brothers@RamsBrothers
Wow. Witherspoon was stride for stride with Greg Dortch and made an incredible play on the ball on 3rd & 5. Saves an explosive and likely points for Arizona before the half.Cannot underestimate how huge that was. May have made the entire game more relaxing

Kobie Turner flashes on tape every single game. Today is no different. Another sack for the rookie to give him his second of the day.Let the young guys cook!

Rams gave up a TD on other team’s opening drive for second consecutive game. Last week, they adjusted quite a bit in-game.The Rams first-half defense, after allowing 8-point, 75-yard opening drive:
– Punt (three and out)
– Punt (three and out)
– Downs (four and out)
– Punt (three and out)(Stafford INT to the AZ 48)
– Penalty nullifies FG attempt
29 net yards allowed.
Rams installed some of the typical Higbee front-side “sift”-type blocks for rookie Davis Allen. Helped Royce Freeman pick up six yards on a carry on second down, and then Allen gets the catch for the conversion on third down.
Stafford/Nacua connection just isn’t there of late. Drive that features a 56-yard Williams run stalls after a red zone incompletion on third-and-5. Rams go up 24-8 after the field goal.
With a versatile, productive run game and effort from their defense like the one they had Sunday, Rams didn’t need to be perfect in a pass game ft. a banged-up Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and Matthew Stafford (to their credit, have gutted through).
“Trying to give them a bunch ofthings to look at,” said Stafford, “I thought our guys did a great job.” Noted AZ was playing their play-action game deep to short, so they got the screen game going really effectively and turned some of those into explosive pass plays.
I’ll add, that the Rams got multiple TEs working across the blocking surface only added more layers of disguise to their run game. Add back Williams, get balanced production from Freeman and they’ve got a depth to the playbook they have to like.

The Rams still haven’t lost to the Cardinals in Arizona since 2014, when they were the St. Louis Rams and Aaron Donald was a rookie and Puka Nacua was in middle schoolBlaine Grisak@bgrisakTST
I do think the Rams have found their RB duo. Kyren Williams and Royce Freeman are a perfect complement for each other.Utilize both of them like today and good things will happen with the offense.

Rams are going to be one game out of a wild card spot in Week 13 with a home run of a rookie class: Puka, Avila, Byron Young and Kobie TurnerJ.B. Long@JB_Long
The Rams 228 yards net rushing today in Arizona represents their highest total since putting 273 on the Dallas Cowboys in the 2018 playoffs.A winning division record secured with two sweeps versus NFC West rivals is no small feat, especially considering the xternal bar that was set for the ‘23 Rams. Here’s hoping Week 18 comes with some stakes.

Rams probably not a playoff team, but also unlikely at this point that they end up with a top-10 pick. Most likely end up in the middle. Good to see growth from a young roster.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
Look at Steve Avila hauling ass down the sideline with Kyren Williams on that 24-yard catch-and-run. The Steve Avila/Kyren Williams buddy movie is a fun one.November 27, 2023 at 6:18 pm #147049znModeratorHere’s who stood out on an individual level in terms of Pro Football Focus (PFF) grading:
1 – Kevin Dotson, RG: 92.2
Dotson earned an impressive 90.5 run blocking grade and paved the way for Kyren Williams’ and Royce Freeman’s monster days running the football. The recently acquired veteran has been LA’s top lineman this year and is consistently graded in the top five of the Rams’ offensive players. Dotson did not allow a single pressure in 34 pass blocking reps. It’s time to pay that man, Les Snead and Sean McVay.
2 – Kyren Williams, RB: 84.3
Williams rushed 16 times for a whopping 143 yards (8.9 average) and tacked on another six catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He’ll finish both contests against the Cardinals this season with a total yardage output of 362. It’s also worth mentioning that Williams had a decent day in pass protection and earned a mark of 78.3 in that facet.3 – Tutu Atwell, WR: 84.2
Atwell set the tone for LA’s offense early with a 42-yard reception on third down. He made a couple other intermediate catches and finished the game with three receptions for 76 yards (average of 25.3). Aside from Williams, Atwell was the Rams’ most productive receiver on Sunday as Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua were held to a measly seven receptions for 45 yards total. The Los Angeles offense is better when Atwell is involved. The Rams replaced Atwell in the first-string lineup with Demarcus Robinson late in the game, though this was probably to help run the football and salt away the game clock. Atwell played only 24 snaps while Robinson was in for 40.
4 – Rob Havenstein, RT: 79.4
5 – Alaric Jackson, LT: 78.0
Havenstein and Jackson surrendered only two and three pressures, respectively, on a day where Matthew Stafford was pressured only seven times total. C Coleman Shelton allowed the other two pressures while LG Steve Avila and Dotson had a clean performance. -
