Question: What stands out about Aaron Donald?Bill Belichick: “Everything. He’s pretty much unblockable.”

3 funniest (slight sarcasm) things I’ve seen this week:1. Francesa thinking Gurley *actually* swapped jerseys with a ref
2. Saints fans saying the Rams didn’t earn a trip to the SB
3. People thinking Ted Rath’s only job is to monitor McVay on the sidelinesJ.B. Long@JB_Long
Not sure anyone made two more crucial plays yesterday than @JHekker. Hard to imagine he even has the chance to save a game-winning FG in OT if he didn’t also throw for the initial first down of the game. One of @RamsNFL many irreplaceable pieces.Ben Volin@BenVolin
Belichick: “I have a ton of respect for Sean … He has a great scheme, the players execute it on a consistent basis on a very high level. … The coaching, the playing, the consistency, coach McVay has done a tremendous job out there.”Vincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
Everyone is saying Jared Goff grew Sunday after slaying the #Saints and the Superdome atmosphere. The reality is he’s been the same guy the whole time: “And that’s what you love about him.” said #Rams tackle Rob Havenstein.Rams Wire@TheRamsWire
Andrew Whitworth is tired of hearing about the non-call: ‘It’s an excuse’Gary Klein@LATimesklein
McVay on non-call against Robey-Coleman: “I feel bad for when it occurred in the framework of the game but I thought Sean [Payton] said it best too, where there’s a lot of other opportunities and there’s a lot of things that do dictate and determine the outcome of the game.”JBLong@JB_Long
Biggest throw of Goff’s career, that drop in the bucket to Cooks in the 2-minute drill.Lindsey Thiry@LindseyThiry
The Rams will hold their practices during Super Bowl week at the Falcons’ facility in Flowery Branch.January 22, 2019 at 9:23 pm #97132InvaderRamModeratorEveryone is saying Jared Goff grew Sunday after slaying the #Saints and the Superdome atmosphere. well. he can’t be the same person he’s always been. nor would i want him to be.
he didn’t grow up all of a sudden in one game either. but i do think it represents the growth he’s had since last year’s playoff game.
and i think the best is yet to come. he’s only 24 years old. by comparison he’s as old as wentz was his rookie year.

Gurley? Just felt he was out of sorts, for whatever reason, on Sunday and they went with the other guy. Is he 100 percent? I doubt it. Is he good enough to play? Yes. Do I expect him to rebound? Absolutely
Any idea what Joyner was thinking on that bomb to Ginn? If he just focuses on swatting the ball away that blown PI call probably never happens.
Misplayed it. He knew he made a mistake. He was mad at himself.
Are Saints fans insufferable?
They have a right to be disappointed. But everyone needs to stop with the “integrity” “fair game” stuff. A mistake happened. A big one. But there were a handful other other mistakes, missed calls, in both games. Every game, for that matter. I know it doesn’t make it any easier. But that’s the truth of the matter.
Pats line is good. But Suh, Donald and Fowler are playing very well right now
most teams have an offensive coordinator. In this system, Sean is the OC. But obviously, he also has a lot of other responsibilities. So Shane and Aaron are in charge of the pass/run games, more to come up with plays they think work best against the defense they are playing that week. All with Sean collaborating, of course. But a lot of leg work in each phase is done by the pass/run guys
The Rams are 15-3 and have basically answered every challenge this year. The Patriots are just the latest one. I have said for a while now the Rams believe they are capable of beating anyone, anywhere, anytime, when they play their game. And I agree.
I think with much less noise and the offense being able to function better and the line firing off the ball more aggressively, I think the Rams can get their run game going. And if so, I think they can do to the Patriots what they’ve done to most teams vertically, horizontally and intermittently. The Patriots and Brady and Gronk….they can hurt you in so many different ways. Rams will be forced to make adjustments regardless
Would not be surprised with Todd being a big part of the gameplan. And deliver a great performance. I think a key to the defense against White and others is making life much more difficult for Brady then it’s been the last two games. The Rams have to get in his face a little bit. Much like they did with Brees.
I’ll use Sunday as an example. Kamara was hurting the Rams out of the backfield – and there were a couple other instances of LB’s in tough matchups against RB/WR. But the Rams, as they’ve done so many times, made adjustments as the game went on. I see that being the case again. It’s going to be a play by play deal, just as it was Sunday.

Spoke with some people today in regards to the #Rams and their targets. I’d be pretty shocked if they do not select a QB in this draft. I would almost take it to the bank it’s someone from the #SeniorBowl#Rams could grab developmental prospect. Nice backup or trade bait
