is this for the goff and higbee contracts or does this mean a new signing might be announced soon?

    In Carolina before the game

Just had dinner with VinnyB. Great guy.

    Gurley’s been ornery all week.

Panthers OL may be a significant weakness.

He loves Noteboom. Can’t wait to see him tomorrow.

We’ll find out how McVay feels about Henderson tomorrow, thinks they wouldn’t have gone to only 3 RBs if they didn’t think he was ready. Watch his snap count.

Weddle has plenty left in the tank. Rams have real leaders on D this year.

Rams knew DAllen would get through waivers. Coaches love THoward, especially a certain coach that knows a lot. Littleton comparison.

Vinny said he’s no expert on this stuff, far from it, but the Rams coaches are great answering questions, and no question is too dumb, so he picked up a lot, knowing what to look for. Knows a lot more about what he sees on the practice field now. Said he’s seen tons of practices/scrimmages over the years, and the one he saw in Napa, was the most amazing by any QB he’s ever seen. Insane throws.

Talked a lot about relocation. Mark Davis. Spanos. Jeff Fisher. Eric Dickerson. Les Snead. A few surprises. Cool stories.

That’s apex Goff. I expect to see apex Goff a few times this year.

Ron Rivera calls the Rams a dynamic football team. He and his staff has gone back to 2017 to watch tape of the Rams offense.

Panthers have ruled out OLB Bruce Irvin and OT Greg Little for Sunday. Brian Burns likely to start for Irvin depending on what look the Rams open up in on offense.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Cam Newton’s mobility has been good in practice following mid-foot sprain. Feels like Newton will be able to do the things he has normally done.

NFL Week 1 picks: Who the experts are taking in Rams at Panthers

According to NFL Pick Watch, https://nflpickwatch.com/ 76 percent of experts are taking the Rams to beat the Panthers on the road. That’s only the 10th-highest total of any game this week, with 100 percent of the experts picking the Eagles and Seahawks to win their season openers.

Gonna get to about 90. No rain. It’s been beautiful this weekend. Even the humidity is not bad.

It’ll get hotter throughout the day but so far so good here in Charlotte, including a nice little breeze. The humidity hasn’t entirely kicked in (yet) #Rams

    McVay Chasing History

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, only George Seifert (28) and Steve Mariucci (25) have more regular-season wins than McVay (24) in their first two years as an NFL head coach.

12 more victories this season would match Jim Harbaugh for second all-time after three years. And if McVay were to go 13-3 again, he would have more wins through his first three campaigns than any head coach who didn’t inherit Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, and Ronnie Lott.

But why not go for Seifert’s mark? 14-2 to tie; 15-1 to break; 16-0 to smash it.

When they kick off Week One, the Rams will have been in sole possession of first place in the NFC West for 672 consecutive days and have held at least a share of the top spot for 728.

    Max: some follow-up

Vinny said Blythe looked bigger to him this year. He said Blythe knew he needed to get stronger.

    Noteboom is our next LOT.

Personally, I don’t think Gurley should be on a pitch count for this game, or the next. They’re trying to win games. I don’t believe there will be a problem early in the season. Its late in the season where they need to be prudent. I think the off season, preseason and in season management will go a long way to avoiding the issues. Less strenuous work in mid week practices and things like that. Gear the workouts to avoid putting too much stress on the knees.

i hope he’s right. i still have it in the back of my head that we see some statistical regression this year.

the one thing i want to see is more consistency. he’s been good the last two years but maybe a little up and down. but he’s also only played three years. so. i’d think that’s pretty normal.

    Noteboom is our next LOT.

again. i hope he’s right. i really like this guy. at the very least, it’d be great if he was actually an upgrade over saffold.
