    Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers praised Chargers but said there’s no battle for the city: “No, not at all. I still think of them as San Diego. I still say San Diego Chargers.” Brockers said different conference and far-apart facilities matter. “There’s just no conflict.”

    Michael Brockers (shoulder) and John Sullivan (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, but McVay said neither player is in danger of missing Sunday’s game. Today’s practice begins shortly.

    Chargers cornerback Casey Hayward on Rams QB Jared Goff: “People just say it’s the scheme, but nah, he’s making throws all over the field.”

    Philip Rivers on #LARams QB Jared Goff: “He seems to fit well in that scheme. They’re doing a lot of things to move him around in games you’ve seen that keeps him on the move. Shoot, he’s going to be one of the young guys that you imagine is going to be around a long time.”

    Well, if the Rams can continue to average 0 QB hits on Goff over the course of his career, I would say, yeah, he is going to be around a long time.

    I so hate that label – tell me a great QB who wasn’t a SYSTEM QB? Fball is about creating a system that fits your personnel/talents! How many QBs do u know that changed systems and had equal success in both???

    14 months ago they called him a “bust”-now they call him a “system QB”….maybe, just maybe @JaredGoff16 is….Good!?!?!
