Details on Rams’ signings/cap situation:– Robinson/Floyd deals are done, but remain contingent on them passing physicals, which aren’t yet finalized.
– Rams will create cap room by restructuring Goff’s 2020 salary, and they’ll also get some relief when Gurley passes physical.

the best the Rams can do is convert most of his $10 million salary in 2020 into a signing bonus, according to ProFootballTalk, and spread it over the remaining years of his contract. It should be enough to fit Floyd and Robinson under the cap, but restructuring Aaron Donald’s deal is also a possibility if needed.

Jared Goff didn’t sacrifice a dime by restructuring his deal. He didn’t even have a say in it.This. Wasn’t. A. Paycut.
Please stop praising him for this, thank you

No team has ever complained that it has too many top flight Offensive or Defensive lineman. It’s a physical game…every weekend…win in the trenches!==

The Rams converted $2.34M of OT Rob Havenstein’s base salary into a signing bonus, creating $1.56M in salary cap space for 2020, per source. More cap space to accommodate the signings of Leonard Floyd and A’Shawn Robinson.April 24, 2020 at 4:56 pm #114022Agamemnon

“Every round we pick in there will probably be a wide receiver (available) that would be a benefit to the
@RamsNFL.”
-Les Snead 3/4/20In anticipation of 4 picks today, I asked Les Snead if he felt he’d be as nimble in a remote draft as he typically is (moving up/down the board):
“It probably will not be as smooth or efficient, but I do think it will not hinder us (by) putting a governor on our…DNA.” #LARams

In Kupp, Woods and Van you have three straight up technicians that will make other dudes look silly, add on to that the big bodies of Higz, JRey, GEazy, with Akers and DH in the backfield…Daniel Leu@Leuzer6
Woods, Kupp, and Jefferson…Best route running trio in the league?

The NFL has a problem with this draft format: It’s better than the previous drafts. Now, going back to the old style will be an issue.April 25, 2020 at 10:02 am #114108zn

First the Dolphins had trade conversations with the Rams about Todd Gurley, then they had discussions with the Jaguars about Leonard Fournette, and today they finally sent a fifth-round pick to the 49ers for RB Matt Breida.April 25, 2020 at 5:19 pm #114167zn

On Rams OL, which is a concern for many: GM Les Snead emphasized how many of their young guys gained experience last year, and how they think they have some good potential to build with. Will be interesting to see how the group develops this season, and who emerges as future LT.

ModeratorReal challenge for Virtual Draft is not the drafting; it is the signing of undrafted players later today. Wrote about expected chaos here: https://t.co/n23LRi8kdl

Agree! There was a controlled chaos in what we know as the normal UDFA process at the conclusion of the draft. I can’t imagine not having coaches and scouts in the same room. https://t.co/6E6GHEmOtZ

I love the big nickel+big dime looks the Rams could throw out there this year.Taylor Rapp, John Johnson III, Terrell Burgess, with David Long and the signing of Levonta Taylor as a UDFA if he makes the roster.
With the inexperience at LB, could see more and more of those looks
