#Rams defenders Cory Littleton (7th) and Aaron Donald (T-8th) both ranked Top-10 in the league last season in tackles for losses with 53 T4L and 50 T4L, respectivelyVincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
#Rams RB Todd Gurley is scheduled to talk to the media on Monday after the Rams opening day of offseason workouts.Jordan Schultz@Schultz_Report
The #Rams did a private workout with Kansas State OT Dalton Risner this week, per source. The 6-5, 312-pound Risner earned All-American honors last season in addition to winning Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year.Downtown Rams@DowntownRams
Per @Schultz_Report Risner worked out with the #Rams. He also met with them at the Senior Bowl. If he’s there at 31…Going to be hard to pass him up.#Rams are meeting with #Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell and Dexter Lawrence on campus per @RapSheet

There have now been four AAF quarterbacks signed to NFL rosters. The money heads clearly didn’t get it right but the football operation side of things was legitimate and clearly it was doing its job from that standpoint.Louis Riddick@LRiddickESPN
It makes me laugh when I hear “the league has player x valued at this level” bs. Have you seen some of the misses that the league has had on players? Listen…the best teams come out on top because they can develop and utilize the best, and we know who those teams are.Scott Bair@BairNBCS
Mayock’s take on the need vs. BPA clash…”I’m the son of a coach, so I know how they think. Coaches think need. We’re a coach-driven building. They are highly involved and that’s good. The flip side is that you can’t reach. You have to use common sense. That’s what I preach.”trey wingo@wingoz
As we get set for the draft in Nashville later this month… with all the talk about who’s going where in the 1st round…remember this: 13 of the 22 starters on the Pats Suoer Bowl winning team were drafted in the 4th round or later. I wonder if this is unusual or about average.

We spend so much time focusing on whether a head coach or GM has final say on matters. I get it, but what matters so much more is whether the two share a vision of how they want to build a roster, sustain success and work together. It starts there.April 12, 2019 at 1:44 pm #99854znModeratorRussell Okung@RussellOkung
Absolutely crazy to me that the @NFL will put on a Hall of Fame game, countless memorials, and numerous legacy events yet their actions in the court indicate a complete lack of respect for former players. We’re far too captivated with the legacy of the player and not the person
The NFL concussion settlement in Jan 2017 was supposed to deliver justice in the form of financial compensation for retired players affected by hazardous work conditions. 2 yrs later, justice remains delayed. Let’s review how the NFL has avoided paying settlement claims.
1) The @NFL has demanded “audits” of more than HALF of claims submitted – sometimes demanding MULTIPLE audits of the same claim. This forces players and their families to endure an exhausting, opaque process more than once: https://bit.ly/2UfvYby
2) In one case the @NFL appealed an Alzheimer’s claim the day before check-writing because it discovered a 3-year-old video of the player “speaking publicly” in a lucid manner. The NFL can even audit a claim after it’s been paid: https://bit.ly/2Z4AqNY
3) Of the 1,479 dementia claims, which make up the majority of claims filed, only 11% have been paid. It’s no wonder players sued the League in 2017 for obstruction and delays.
4) The NFL is litigating just about every claim, despite having reached a settlement in court. The older a player, the less money he is eligible to receive. There is incentive to drag out payments. This behavior is similar to an insurance company trying to delay-and-deny claims.
5) Retiree George Andrie was diagnosed with dementia by 4 different doctors. His condition required 24-hour care. His claim was denied due to much stricter standards for evaluating dementia initiated by the league.
The reason that was cited for denying his claim, and the professional opinion of 4 medical professionals was quote: “his appearance was neat and well kempt.”
The @NFL got so much backlash for their appeal that they withdrew it the day before the hearing…

What’s so sad is that the fans are brainwashed into thinking like ownership because they don’t really care about players either. Just the product on the field at that point in time. I am an ex Union official so I understand.April 12, 2019 at 7:20 pm #99861znModeratorThe #Rams offensive line did a fantastic job giving Jared Goff time in the pocket, keeping him clean on 418 dropbacks in 2018
Last season @JaredGoff16 had the 8th most clean dropbacks in the league, which played a significant role in both Goff's and the Rams' success pic.twitter.com/nKADrHPox6

Forrest Gregg was one of the greatest OL to ever play this game, but he was an even better person. Privileged to have been on same title team in his final season. Privileged to call him my friend. My deepest condolences to Forrest’s wife Barbara and the rest of the Gregg family.April 13, 2019 at 5:37 pm #99876InvaderRamModeratorAdam Schefter@AdamSchefter
