#Rams Jared Goff though seven games this year, sacked 10 times. Goff through seven games last year sacked 26 times.

To put Sean McVay’s offensive expectations in perspective, he fumed on 1st day of #Rams camp when offense struggled

McAdoo had mentioned the Rams are 4-0 on the road earlier today. Goff: “I think we all enjoy playing on the road… It brings us together.”

Goff says he spent the bye week self scouting and working on details. “I try to clean my footwork up every game.”

McVay says the trade deadline was more other teams reaching out about Rams players than the Rams attempting to make a move.

Describing the Rams offense, McAdoo mentioned the names “Shanahan” and “Gruden.” I don’t think he said the name “McVay.”

“You’ll see a little of the Shanahan system with their shots down the field… As well as some of the Gruden-type stuff.”

Offensively, Rams are different because of personnel and tempo, McAdoo said. “They try to change speeds on you.”

McAdoo said there’s “a lot of similarities” on defensive and special teams between the 2016 and 2017 Rams. @CVRamsClub

“The system may be different on defense, but your getting a very good front” that “creates messes in the backfield.” — BM

Here’s what Giants coach Ben McAdoo said when asked how similar Sean McVay’s Rams offense looks to the Redskins ones he often faced: “I think there are a lot of similarities there. They do some outside zone, they do a lot of window dressing with the receivers as far as the old fly-sweep stuff, the reverses, the fake reverses. You’ll see a little bit of the Shanahan system in there, as well, with their shots down field, how they like to tie the spacing concepts into their shots down the field, as well as some of the Gruden-type stuff.”

My only thought right now on Garoppolo going to SF: It’s going to be a lot of fun watching McVay and Shanahan match up for years to come.

Needless to say, LT Duane Brown is a big get for a Seahawks team that had serious issues with their offensive line, is doing everything it can to win now and probably believes it needs to take steps to try to hold off the Rams in the NFC West. Brown, who held out most of the summer, has been one of the game’s best performing tackles over the last seven years or so. Rams’ pass rush won’t be able to get to Russell Wilson as easily when the two teams meet again in Seattle on Dec. 17.

Not even going to tweet about Rams today. They’re fine. Healthy. Happy. Practicing and all that.

The next month will be very interesting for Jared Goff, especially. Really curious to see how he responds, with the stakes so high.

#Rams schedule looks a whole lot nastier after latest flurry of trades. Texans, Vikings, Saints, Eagles, and Seahawks loom in next 7 weeks.

That could realistically be 3-5 losses. Rams really need to win their winnable games, including this week vs. NYG, for playoff purposes.
