From ESPN Stats & Information: Todd Gurley has handled 52.1 percent of the Rams’ touches this season, highest in the NFL (Ezekiel Elliott is second at 48.6 percent). Gurley’s mark would be the highest of any player since DeMarco Murray with the Cowboys in 2014 (53.7 percent).

Tavon Austin has only taken 29 offensive snaps, but he does have nine touches — tied with Kupp, not far off from Watkins (13), Woods (10).

The Rams’ offense has been bad for a long time, but Sammy Watkins didn’t think about that when he came over. “I was like, ‘We’re going to be pretty good.’ Because they already had everything in place with the running back, the line, the people that they added. I was like, ‘My job is easy. Go out here and have fun and not put as much pressure as I did the previous years, and just play free.'”

Pro Football Focus graded Lamarcus Joyner 4th among 80 safeties through the first three weeks. Big loss for the Rams against this offense.

Since 1990, 64.1% of teams to start 3-1 made playoffs. Of course, 2016 Rams were not one of them. 2017 Rams have a chance to go 3-1 Sunday.

Greg Robinson showed up briefly in the Lions locker room Friday and told the media “I don’t have a word for y’all, man.” Then he walked out. Earlier in the week, Vikings DE Everson Griffen called Robinson “lazy.”
