    Reference to this can’t be found in any history books.

    Well that part ain’t correct. I think maybe they mean high-school history texts?

    This is the kind of dynamic that makes amerika so hard to describe in a few words.
    Some things have gotten worse and worse and worse — pollution, extinctions, etc.
    But some things have gotten better — we dont see black people bombed from airplanes anymore.
