Is there any quarterback in the league that gets hit in the head or gets his face mask pulled more than Jared Goff and never gets the calls?

I can’t get over how good Darious Williams is – and how elite his hands are.

    My god, he’s unreal

NFC Defensive Player of Week 10: @RamsNFL CB Darious Williams (with a nod to Jalen Ramsey)

Someone want to tell Jalen Ramsey he can let DK Metcalf come out of his pocket now

I know they changed the way they played after Whit went down, but it was a very good sign I didn’t hear Joseph Noteboom’s name

Jalen Ramsey said Andrew Whitworth is “the leader of the team”, that despite concern for him they knew they had to finish the job and that he believes Whitworth would be proud of how they did that.

Sean McVay is now 5-2 against Pete Carroll.

Sean McVay talking about Andrew Whitworth’s injury: “I don’t know what the extent of the injury is. I sure hope he’s OK. I love this guy.”

Jalen Ramsey on Darious Williams: “I think it’s time to start talking about D-Will as a household name in this league.”

Says he has the potential to be an All-Pro

Sean McVay leads tonight’s postgame by praising Darious Williams and Jalen Ramsey, and the effect they had on the Seahawks’ whole plan.

Jalen Ramsey deflected from talking about himself and his matchup with Metcalf, preferring to talk about the secondary as a whole and how he hopes going away from him meant his teammates had an opportunity to make plays

#Rams win and this man among others balled out big time. Leonard Floyd 3 sacks and a fumble recovery

Really want to see the tape on the #Rams D vs. Russ…

Looked like heavy split-safety coverage on TV. Ramsey playing over Metcalf. Forcing Russ to hold the ball, throw into contested windows.

    RIPKobeBeanBryant@Rams24_7
The full impact that AD and Ramsey bring to the D can’t be found in the stat sheet. But you can look to all the assist sacks AD gives his teammates or how Ramsey can erase a teams best skill player. I’m paying these men top dollar 10 times out of 10

    J.B. Long@JB_Long
That was the 17th time in Russell Wilson’s career he’s been held without a touchdown. 5 of those have come against the @RamsNFL, including today.

Sean McVay is now 31-0 when the Rams are leading at the half

Rams second-half defense in 2020 has to be best in NFL…have not run the numbers but in terms of yards, points, sacks, picks—have to be at or near the top in all of those

The Rams are tied with the Saints as an NFC best, 6-1 conference record.

    Mike Clay@MikeClayNFL
DK Metcalf aligned across from Jalen Ramsey on 30 (71%) of his 42 routes today. Metcalf caught 2 of 4 targets for 28 yards in the game.

    DOWNTOWN RAMS [DTR]@DowntownRams
Leonard Floyd now has 6 sacks on the season. The way he sets the edge as a run defender makes me wonder if he’s indeed better than Fowler. I don’t think it’s crazy to say.

These numbers are subject to change, but Darious Williams’ day was absolutely EPIC, per @PFF:
    – 6 targets
    – 1 reception allowed
    – 9 yards allowed
    – 2 INT’s
    – 2 forced incompletions
    – 1 pick-six wiped off the board (free play)
    – 0.0 rating allowed in his coverage

NFL Week 10 PFF ReFocused: Los Angeles Rams 23, Seattle Seahawks 16

    https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2020-week-10-pff-refocused-los-angeles-rams-23-seattle-seahawks-16

The reeling Seattle Seahawks found themselves on the losing end for the third time in four games after falling to the Los Angeles Rams, 23-16, in Week 10. After cooking in the first half of the season, Russell Wilson might need more culinary lessons after some subpar play during this recent stretch.

    STORY OF THE GAME

Wilson has not been the same player we saw in the first half of the season. The MVP candidate has tossed multiple interceptions in three of his past four games — with all three resulting in Seattle losses. Wilson came into this game as the highest-graded quarterback on throws 20-plus-yards downfield (99.7), but he failed to log even a single completion out of his six attempts against the Rams.

Wilson’s lack of success can be attributed to sensational play from Jalen Ramsey and the Rams’ secondary. Ramsey logged 44 coverage snaps, was targeted only twice and allowed just one 5-yard completion. The All-Pro corner has led a unit in 2020 that has allowed the fewest 15-plus-yard receptions on the season (36).

The duo of Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf was held in check, much like the rest of the Seattle offense. Lockett and Metcalf combined for seven receptions and 94 yards — the fewest by the tandem this season.

Los Angeles was able to take advantage of a horrid Seattle defense that entered the day on pace to give up the most passing yards in NFL history. Jared Goff threw for 302 yards, with 131 of those yards coming on play action.

    ROOKIE WATCH

Cam Akers, a second-round pick out of Florida State, racked up a team-high 38 yards. Akers’ production has been inconsistent of late, but 10 carries was his second-highest total of the season. DeeJay Dallas, another rookie running back, has been an active participant with the absence of Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, but he saw only four touches for 31 yards.

Freddie Swain led all rookie receivers with four targets and three receptions — he was also Seattle’s second-leading receiver. Van Jefferson added one 15-yard reception for Los Angeles.

Damien Lewis is coming off a career game in Week 9, ranking as the highest-graded guard last week (92.2). Against the Rams’ pass rush and Aaron Donald, Lewis allowed four pressures on the day.

Ramsey was not the only Rams defensive back to put up an impressive performance. Jordan Fuller was targeted three times on 46 coverage snaps and allowed just one reception. Terrell Lewis also made an impact, bringing down Russell Wilson once.

For the Seahawks, linebacker Jordyn Brooks broke up a pass from Goff and added five tackles, while Alton Robinson made two tackles on 27 snaps.
