Tale of the game. A Goff overthrow of Josh Reynolds (while he was held)

They don’t call those penalties at the end of the game. No matter what

Jared Goff missed two would-be touchdowns on the first drive of this comeback and the Rams settled for a field goal. If he hits either of those throws, the Rams could very easily be kicking a field goal to tie there and we would have been heading to OT.

#Rams lose their second straight game, 30-23 to #Eagles to fall to 11-3. They’ve got two weeks to get their mojo back. A lot of work to do to get there. Breakdowns everywhere tonight

Jared Goff has 6 interceptions in his last 2 games. He had 7 interceptions in his first 12 games of the season.

The Jared Goff – Josh Reynolds connection wasn’t working tonight, for some reason. Goff was 1-of-6 with an interception targeting Reynolds and 14-of-14 on all other passes

You guys really should watch football w my daughter. Hilarious commentary on the TD.

“Wait. They ran right up the middle? How’s it even possible that works?? Who’s the guy that said ‘I’ve got a play! Let’s run right through all of these guys!’? I can’t believe that works!”

Rams have now lost back-to-back regular-season games for the first time under Sean McVay.

#LARams are now 11-3 on the season. Team still controls its own outcome in terms of a first-round bye — two wins in next two games will do it.

Eagles become the first franchise to defeat the second-year head coach twice.

That was Garo Yepremian Part II. Look it up, kids. Only time I’ve seen a worse pass in an NFL game.

Full-team meltdown for Rams tonight, which is surprising. They have time to turn it around before the playoffs but at the moment, every unit needs some improvement.

Rams’ worst loss of the McVay era was 24-7 to Minnesota last year. I don’t count the season finale vs. SF last year because it was the Sub Bowl. All things considered, this is as bad as we’ve seen.

Goff targeted Josh Reynolds 6 times in the first half, and it resulted in 1 catch for 6 yards. Cooper Kupp, Jared Goff turns his lonely eyes to you.

“We will get that thing checked out,” Sean McVay, on Todd Gurley’s knee.

Things are falling apart for the Rams. That Monday Night game against the KC Chiefs seems like forever ago.

Last week, Sean McVay fell on the sword. Tonight, said he has to be better, but he is not shying from saying that players need to stop making uncharacteristic mistakes.

Rams locker room is silent after loss to Eagles. It was quiet after previous two losses – but this vibe is different.

The Rams’ 17-point deficit was their second largest this season. They trailed by 21 at New Orleans, before closing the gap and losing.

Sean McVay on @ESPNLosAngeles with us postgame:

We didn’t do the things that good football teams do… Gotta get to the bottom of it in a very short amount of time.

    Joe Curley@vcsjoecurley
Asked if he was concerned with Jared Goff, Sean McVay responded “There’s concern about our overall operation… we’re all responsible.”

“Too many negative plays. Too many things that we did to shoot oursevles in the foot… We’ve got to be better.” — Sean McVay

“However you cut it, we’re all in this together… This wasn’t good enough and it’s a tough pill to swallow.” — Sean McVay

“There’s no excuses. If you want to be great, you’ve got to be great. You got to show up in games and this was a big game for us.” — Aaron Donald

“We’ve just got to play better. We’ve got a great team. We’ve got great coaches. That’s on the players, that’s on us. So I’m going to try to do better. I’m going to try to do more. I’ve got to try to find a way to get free, no matter what they’re doing.” — Aaron Donald

“We failed on two games… but we know we’re a good team with a successful offense, special teams, defense, as well. Just find a way to put it back together. Still got time… to turn it around.” — Robert Woods

#Rams locker room as quiet as I’ve ever heard it

They’ve got two weeks to get their mojo back. A lot of work to do to get there. Breakdowns everywhere tonight

No need right there to take any chances. Secure ball. Give your offense a chance. Inexcusable mistake by JoJo

Goff has been throwing off his back foot for what seems like forever the last three games

The offensive line has taken a major step back the last few weeks.
