The Rams signed Ahkello Witherspoon to bolster their secondary and he’s turned out to be one of the top CBs in the league so far
    .
Witherspoon has been a stud for the Rams. He’s allowed the 2nd-lowest passer rating of any CB, hasn’t given up a TD and has allowed just 6 catches on 16 targets against the likes of Chase, Pittman, Metcalf, Lockett and others

In portion of practice open to reporters, primarily individual drills, Rams star receiver Cooper Kupp appeared to be going full speed without any limitations.

Rams are currently ranked 10th  at this, at 61.54%. They were ranked 2nd after 2 games but the Bengals game completely screwed that up. That stat is here: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/red-zone-scoring-pct

This is an old problem area for the McV Rams, but (aside from the Bengals game this year) one that appears to be fixed in 2023, finally.

Rams OC Mike LaFleur on the throws QB Matthew Stafford has made so far this season: “He has every club in the bag.”

The 2023 Rams offense is a living timeline of Sean McVay’s past ideas, blended with borrowed wrinkles and new innovations and playmakers

I posted that whole article. It’s the newest in this thread: The Rams they are a-changin… w/ a big 10/5 update

Stafford vs. Hurts comparison –Stafford has the higher QBR, is doing more with less, and is 4-1 against the Eagles lifetime with 10 TD’s and 1 pick. And to re-iterate on the hip, it’s literally a bruise.

Mike LaFleur deserves a lot of credit. Easy to see his influence over the Rams offense. Perhaps the most interesting development is less screens. Rams are 31st in screen rate this year, per SIS. Thru 4 games last year they were 5th; 1st in 2021.

Interesting stat via The Athletic Football Show… The Rams lead the NFL is throws between the hashes with 25. Meanwhile, the Eagles defense ranks 30th in EPA on defending throws between the hashes.

No Joe Noteboom and no Alaric Jackson practicing yesterday for the Rams.

The stability at the LT position is the primary cause of concern on the Rams offensive line.

If Jackson/Noteboom can’t go, it will be 3/5 games Rams have had to make a change at that spot.

If the Rams don’t have a starting LT on Sunday and have to go with Thomas/McClendon, it’s going to be very difficult for them to function how they want vs. PHI.

This is a game where you need to be able to line up in empty and spread the defense out. Need protection to do that.

    Unless it’s not.

There are bruises, and there are bruises. Could be something more serious, like a hip pointer, for example.

This strikes me as a good thing.

    the rams d ranks:

2nd best in 3rd down conversions allowed
2nd best in completion % allowed
7th best in pass yards per attempt allowed
8th best in qb rating allowed

the eagles d has been stout vs the run but not the pass, will the rams come out passing?

the rams rank #7 in offensive scoring, the eagles #5 – both offenses also rank top 10 in third down conversion rate, scoring per drive, field goals per drive and offense epa, while being very close in yards gained per play.
