Darrell Henderson Jr. is expected to be a game-time decision on Sunday, Leonard Floyd is supposed to be a full participant today and Darious Williams is sick, but he should be ok for Sunday – all per Sean McVay

McVay giving praise for not only Matthew Stafford, but Cooper Kupp as well for making him a better, sharper coach so far this season.

Said he has to be prepared to answer their tough questions. Sounds like it’s helping to expedite the process of adding new layers to the offense.

People really think the Rams have shown the whole playbook in just two games. No doubt in my mind McVay has some packages and situations specifically for Desean Jackson to remind everybody why they wanted him.

    Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
Darrell Henderson (ribs) and Jacob Harris (hip) the only Rams listed as “questionable” for Sunday vs Bucs.

Sean McVay on WRs Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods today, especially as it pertains to their behind-the-scenes & technical work in expanding this offense w Stafford: “Those two guys are as selfless and as productive of receivers as you could ever ask for. It’s awesome to be around.”

The #Rams have been playing extremely disciplined football the first two weeks. They have the 2nd least in the NFL with 6 penalties right behind Indianapolis who has 5.

Interesting. I heard somebody complain that there are “too many” penalties this year, so I assume the total is up leaguewide. Philadelphia has had 22 penalties called on them. Seattle has the worst differential at -10.

Tampa Bay, since you asked, has had 20 penalties called against them (including 7 pre-snap), and has the 2nd worst yardage differential at -85.

Rams ILB Kenny Young fined $12,000 for contact with official in Colts game, person with knowledge of the situation said.

Some people were surprised that the WR3 reps have been so lopsided in favor of Jefferson. Not only has he continued to develop as a WR, but he’s turning into a hell of a blocker too. He’s out blocking on the 2nd and 3rd level on screens and jet sweeps

When it comes to playing against his old teams, DeSean Jackson is the master of the “Revenge Game”. In 9 games against his former teams, Jackson has 39 catches for 836 yards and five touchdowns. Thats an average of: 4.3 catches, 92.9 yards, .6 TDs

#Rams RB Darrell Henderson Jr., dealing with a rib cartilage injury, is a game-time decision but has an uphill battle to play, source said. If he can’t go, Sony Michel will be the lead back with Jake Funk mixed in.

Keyshawn Johnson said “all the Bucs need to do, is find out where 5 is and where 99 is… and that’s it, keep it moving.”

Think he might’ve forgot our defense is loaded with talent everywhere.

Wrong. Neutralize 5 and 99 and the Rams defense is mediocre.

    HoldenCantor@HoldenCantor
Leonard Floyd, Darious Williams, Taylor Rapp, Jordan Fuller, Justin Hollins and many more.. are not mediocre. Promise you that

    ME:

Leonard Floyd, Darious Williams, Taylor Rapp, Jordan Fuller, Justin Hollins and many more.. are not mediocre.

That’s a longer list than I would have given. Rapp and Hollins are okay but just that. I would have said Joseph-Day instead.

Well…go ahead and neutralize 5 and 99 then.

I wouldn’t include Rapp or Hollins, either. Rapp has never impressed me at all, in fact. Joseph-Day has a much more pronounced impact. Agree.

Matt Stafford was inactive against the Bucs in 2019, and knocked out of the game on his first drive in 2020.

The last time he faced a Todd Bowles defense was in 2018, when he threw 4 INTs in a 48-17 loss to Bowles’ Jets. Stafford is 0-3 all-time against Bowles-led defenses
