rams defense jumped from 12th in offensive points allowed to 4th after smothering the panthers, giving up just 3. the 3 teams ahead of the rams are: 1. sfo 2. buf 3. denOctober 17, 2022 at 9:29 pm #141253znModeratorJAKE ELLENBOGEN@JKBOGENBen Skowronek is now 2nd in average yards of separation per play and 4th in average drop percentage among WRs..Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
The craziness of the game within the game: Ernest Jones wraps McCaffrey hard early in the drive. Then McCaffrey gets Jones with a stiff-arm on a big catch-and-run that sets up a 4th and 1 at the 7. Then Jones tips the pass and Nick Scott scoops it up for the Rams.
.It wasn’t just Allen Robinson catching two Allen Robinson-y passes. It was the Rams planning him into their offense in versatile way. On successful drives, they accentuated skill sets of players and helped their OL..
what is the thinking on empty sets (especially from the three yard line) for putting Henderson out wide?.Jourdan Rodrigue: When you do that you automatically move a defender away from the play because he has to account for the possibility Hendo gets the ball. So that removes some sort of double or bracket for other WRs and removes blitz potential if a DB. If they don’t cover him I think you’d see the ball go to himOctober 17, 2022 at 9:30 pm #141254znModeratorGreg Beacham@gregbeacham
Greg Gaines had soreness in his shoulder yesterday, and that’s why the Rams’ fastest player only got 12 snaps, Sean McVay says. He thinks Marquise Copeland filled in solidly.October 17, 2022 at 9:31 pm #141255znModeratorbrandon staley, defensive "genius".

October 17, 2022 at 10:53 pm #141264znModeratorTutu Atwell has now topped 21 mph twice this year – the only ball carrier in the NFL to do so
Incredibly, he's only touched the ball TWICE https://t.co/tuajcyUg2L

October 19, 2022 at 9:42 am #141285znModeratorThe Rams' edge rushers have been mostly ineffective this season, combining for 2 sacks in 6 games – and only 15 total pressures https://t.co/B5jzH3WElP

% of pass attempts (and stats) for under center vs shotgun.. 21% of stafford's passes have come from under center, which is about the league average, but more interesting are his numbers from under center, they're significantly better than his shotgun numbers. pic.twitter.com/aSon8rhHTH

October 20, 2022 at 8:59 am #141298znModeratorplay-action and screen frequency thru wk 6.
vs ari and car the rams ran play-action on 41% and 38% of their drop-backs respectively, which ranked 8th and 6th most for those weeks – they also ran screens on more than 20% of their drop-backs, good for second most for those weeks. pic.twitter.com/JtvTAnZWVX

October 20, 2022 at 10:05 am #141299znModeratorJAKE ELLENBOGEN@JKBOGENNo team has generated fewer QB pressures than the #Rams through 6 games. If you don’t think they are trying to fix this at the trade deadline you haven’t been paying attention.October 20, 2022 at 10:42 am #141300znModeratorThe Rams are just 3-3, but Jalen Ramsey explained why they’re actually in a good spot https://t.co/EGWuSdwteP

October 20, 2022 at 1:41 pm #141301wvParticipantAt 3-3 in the NFC West the rams are “in a good spot,”
unfortunately they also have too many fatal flaws to be serious contenders for a Ring.
Pass-Rush, OLine, WR, RB — too long a list.
Some of that will improve, but not enough of it.
And god help them if Stafford or Kupp go down.

October 20, 2022 at 5:39 pm #141302znModeratorBrandon Powell may be one of the Rams’ smallest players, but he plays like he has no idea he is. He plays football like a pull-string firecracker, like he’s furious at the game for once leaving him behind.
He’s making an outsized difference on this team: https://t.co/HgRZlTXNVf
