    The craziness of the game within the game: Ernest Jones wraps McCaffrey hard early in the drive. Then McCaffrey gets Jones with a stiff-arm on a big catch-and-run that sets up a 4th and 1 at the 7. Then Jones tips the pass and Nick Scott scoops it up for the Rams.

    It wasn’t just Allen Robinson catching two Allen Robinson-y passes. It was the Rams planning him into their offense in versatile way. On successful drives, they accentuated skill sets of players and helped their OL.

    what is the thinking on empty sets (especially from the three yard line) for putting Henderson out wide?

    Jourdan Rodrigue: When you do that you automatically move a defender away from the play because he has to account for the possibility Hendo gets the ball. So that removes some sort of double or bracket for other WRs and removes blitz potential if a DB. If they don’t cover him I think you’d see the ball go to him

    No team has generated fewer QB pressures than the #Rams through 6 games. If you don’t think they are trying to fix this at the trade deadline you haven’t been paying attention.

    At 3-3 in the NFC West the rams are “in a good spot,”

    unfortunately they also have too many fatal flaws to be serious contenders for a Ring.

    Pass-Rush, OLine, WR, RB — too long a list.

    Some of that will improve, but not enough of it.

    And god help them if Stafford or Kupp go down.
