Rams sign undrafted Tennessee LB Daniel Bituli
Rams sign undrafted Tennessee LB Daniel Bituli
The NFL draft may be behind us, but the Los Angeles Rams aren’t done tweaking their roster. After adding nine rookies in the draft and another 20 undrafted players, the Rams are signing signing another prospect who went undrafted.
The Tennessee Volunteers announced Wednesday that linebacker Daniel Bituli has signed with the Rams. He was not selected in this year’s draft.
Bituli led the Volunteers in tackles over the last three seasons, even despite missing two games in 2019. He’s an old-school type of linebacker, playing more of that thumper role than a coverage defender.
He has great size (6-4, 246 pounds) and strength, but he’s limited athleticism-wise and only ran a 4.84 in the 40-yard dash.
The Rams need all the linebacker help they can get right now after losing Cory Littleton and only adding Clay Johnston in the draft.
