Rams Re-Signing Veteran DL Cam Thomas

The Los Angeles Rams are re-signing veteran DL Cam Thomas, according to his agent David Canter.

Thomas, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2010. After four years in San Diego, Thomas signed a two-year agreement with the Steelers in 2014 before testing the open market several months ago.

The Rams eventually signed Thomas to a contract in June, but he was later waived as the team cut their roster down to 53 players on Saturday.

From what I saw this August he played his butt off too. Not literally, of course, because he would probably be less effective if he did that literally. So, figuratively, he played his butt off–was running, and hussling, and fighting. I thought he earned a spot and I agree it sure would be nice to see someone split some time with Brockers. It would up MB’s game some too to be spelled by a guy capable of handling the heavy lifting on that DL.
