After these trades and tagging Joyner, the rams have about 31.3 million in space. Here are some moves I expect them to make:

cut Tavon +3, resign ERFAs Hill and Brown (I am guessing 600000 each – this only costs about 120000 each as they replace other players on the top 51 man roster, sign Longacre to a second round RFA contract (2.7, it is 1.8 if they go original draft round compensation).

Those moves chew up the Tavon space.

Other ERFAs include Fickins (600000 to hold Zuerlien’s spot?), Laskey at RB (600000?) and Sickels an OLB I never heard of. The rams have bigger decisions with RFA Cameron Lynch (for 1.8) and RFA RT Williams for 1.8. If they make all of these moves they would be down to about 27 million.

Note this does including signing Robey Coleman (3 million?), Sullivan (2 million) or McQuaide (1.1 or replaced by a 6th rounder). Those moves bring up down to 23.5 million.

I also don’t know what Shields got so maybe 22.5 million.

About 5 has to be saved for the draft, 2 for injuries in the season so now down to 15.5 million.

If they sign Watkins, then no big name FAs come this way. If he goes elsewhere, they can go get two tier two players (linebackers, WR, or DT) and still hold some room for Donald.

Just doing off the head stuff, the Rams will cut Tavon and Barron if they can’t trade them. That gives them enough to keep Watkins and sign Donald and take care of all other business. imo
