    This is a really good, honest answer from Shanahan. Here’s the deal: They feel like they have a championship roster (They didn’t expect getting as many FAs back as they did), so it’s not hard to see why they wouldn’t be ready to trust all that to a rookie just yet.

    Unless …
    … someone blows them away with an offer. Right now, they’re operating from a position of strength. And I’m on board with their logic—it’s not worth jeopardizing a potential title run for what you might get with, say, a Day 2 pick.

    It’s really not that complicated.

    I read somewhere that the Seahawks have the LEAST cumulative draft capital.

    I’m sure that will disappoint a lot of you guys who aren’t True Rams Fans (TM).
