Sean McVay is hiring Zac Robinson as Zac Taylor’s successor in LA and the Rams’ new assistant QB coach, per source. Robinson is a former NFL practice squad QB, PFF analyst, and QB trainer. The two finalists were him and former NFL QB Bruce Gradkowski.

Jared Goff, multiple times, has spoken of the value of working with someone who played quarterback. Robinson did, so he will partner with Waldron and Fisch (and McVay, of course) on Team Goff.

haha! seriously though. i’m putting my faith in mcvay that this will be good for goff.

i don’t know much about henderson or robinson. but on the surface. young up and coming. a reputation for teaching. i’m liking these hires.

we’ll see.
