Multiple sources said that after initial testing on Cooper Kupp’s ankle, he appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario with the injury. Important to remember, though, that he’ll go through more testing in the coming days for a clearer picture of the situation.

What a reversal of fortune. I knew this season would be a challenge for the Rams but this result so far is mind boggling.

Nick Scott took the time postgame.
“They got the lead, we’re trying to play aggressive. Missing tackles, effort plays, can’t really correct that other than being better the next snap. With that (Moore) catch; tough situation. We’re playing 0, got a guy (Long) on an island and
telling him to be great. That’s the NFL. D-Lo had a very nice play on that same concept earlier in the game. That’s two NFL players going at it … D-Lo, I know he’s holding himself accountable for that. … there’s plenty of opportunities where defense has to step up and make
a play, and we didn’t do that. We gotta be better at that.”
Brian Allen, on juxtaposition between first-series script plays and off-script plays: We did a great job on that drive running the ball, opening up stuff in the pass. Methodically moving the ball down the field. We gotta figure out ways to score TDs. Teams who kick FGs in this
league have a hard time winning. If we get down in the 10, 15, we gotta score. … just gotta run the ball efficiently the whole game. Can’t do that, they’re not gonna respect our play-action stuff that’s married with it. … I could say 10,000 things right now. Don’t want to
make any excuses.
Following up, are rush yards there to be had?
Allen: It’s hard to give the play-caller confidence if we’re not doing it consistently. And it’s on us to give (McVay) that (confidence).
Missed tackle in space on third and 17 to set up fourth and 3 looms large, gotta say. We’re looking at Rams trying to tie this game this drive if that tackle sticks. Not the only thing, but a big one. And then the TD. Brutal.
