Here are the Rams’ 2018 draft picks after trading Robert Quinn
By: Cameron DaSilva | 6 hours agoThe Los Angeles Rams have been one of the most active teams in the NFL this offseason, yet the new league year hasn’t even begun. By striking deals involving Marcus Peters and Robert Quinn, the Rams have changed the look of their upcoming draft haul in a matter of a week.
Los Angeles is packaging Quinn and a sixth-round pick for a fourth- and sixth-round pick from Miami, essentially giving the Rams one of the two picks they gave up to get Peters.
With all the shuffling that’s gone on, let’s take a look at an updated list of the team’s selections heading into April’s draft. It’s unclear exactly which of Miami’s two fourth-round picks the Rams will receive. The same goes for the Chiefs’ sixth-rounder heading to Los Angeles, so this is a tentative list.
So in total, the Rams will have eight picks in 2018, only being without a second-rounder (traded in Sammy Watkins deal) and a seventh-rounder (traded in Derek Carrier deal).
The Rams may not be done dealing, either. Mark Barron is another player who could be on the move, especially given his $10 million and lack of ideal fit in Wade Phillips’ defense.

Round 1 (23)
no round 2
Round 3 (87)
Round 4 (111 or 130)
…tba, Giants
Round 5 (160)
Round 6 (5 picks, including one going to Miami and one coming from NYG)
no round 710 picks total.

March 7, 2018 at 9:26 pm #83608InvaderRamModeratorif they could somehow trade up to get vander esch and then draft an edge rusher in the later rounds. their lb corps would be instantly transformed. they’d still need a second corner though.
March 7, 2018 at 10:10 pm #83616InvaderRamModeratoranother guy i totally forgot about. rashaan evans. on the smaller side, but he’s a playmaker. i don’t think size will necessarily scare sonofbum off. as long as he can tackle which ogletree didn’t always do so well.

We don’t need to trade up to get him. I feel we are not done with trading yet. Trader Les still has more up his sleeve. Just watch. Then, we’ll get LB Mason Foster for cheap. That might be the plan.

First of all…that equals 9, so I make a motion that zn is removed as Treasurer of the Board.
Thirdly, what the hell does a team even do with 5 picks in the 6th round? Feels like taking a handful of darts and chucking them all at once towards the dartboard. Maybe we trade those 5 6th rounders to Cleveland for their 1st round pick, and explain that 5 picks times the 6th round equals 30, whereas their one 1st round pick is worthless. They might be dum enough to go for that. It is Cleveland, after all.
March 7, 2018 at 11:44 pm #83624ZooeyModeratorWait…didn’t we get Miami’s 4th?
And where is the Rams’ 4th?

Rams 4th was traded for Peters.
It is the year of 4ths and 6ths.

No it’s 10. 1 1st, 1 3rd, 2 4ths, 1 5th, and 5 6ths.

Hit Rate on 6th Rounders is in the 10-15% range…..so if they actually keep them all (which i think there’s zero chance of that) ….you would think they’d be lucky to have 2 of them to stick.
BUT Snead has done better than average in the 6th
Here’s his 6th round picks–
Greg Zuerlein
E.J. Gaines
Garrett Gilbert
Bud Sasser –Medical
Cody Wichmann
Temarrick Hemingway
Josh Forrest
Mike Thomas
Tanzel SmartNot a bad list….2 major hits with Greg Z and Gaines….Still too early to on Thomas/Smart. Forrest was doing well until his knee injury.

But you didn’t list two 4ths. You said 111 or 130.

It’s 2 4ths. 1 is 111 or 130, we don’t know yet. The other is tba, from the Giants. Hence:
1. Round 4 (111 or 130)
2. …tba, GiantsMarch 8, 2018 at 1:46 pm #83652ZooeyModeratorBut you didn’t list two 4ths. You said 111 or 130.

Ok, I’m confused. How do you draft two forths of a player.
I can see drafting 70 percent of a 110 percent of a player.
But no way I see them drafting two forths of a player.w

vHow about this though.
5 6ths is just one 6th short of being 6 6ths, which equals one. 6 6ths = 1.
So if they pick up another 6th, they will have 6 6ths, and that means they can combine them and convert them together into 1 1st rounder.
