@AdamSchefter: Bears WR Alshon Jeffery expected to play today despite groin injury; RB Matt Forte not expected to play due to knee injury, per sources.

With just a few days of practice under his belt, new #Rams WR Wes Welker will be active today, sources say. Worth watching on third downs.

Well, their top RB back is out
and their big WR is gimpy,
and the game is in St.Louis,
and its a must win for the Rams.

If they cant win this one,
then Fisher needs to have a sage
plant stuck up his ass and
    burned in the city square.

    Thats for Lyser.

    …my main concern right now
is Quinn. They can win today without
    Quinn, but
on the road they will need
Donald AND Quinn or this defense
aint so scary. And the defense
has to carry the team, obviously.

So, today, I am interested in Quinn,
and Welker and the non-existent passing
game. Can the Rams pass, at home,
    against a losing team.

I figure it’s nothing more than this.

The only way to replace Bailey is to sign a vet. Someone who can contribute.

You then take advantage of what that vet has.

In this case, it’s the Amendola role. Some slot stuff, third down stuff.

And, you create some packages he can play in. Not that hard for a vet. No way he will know the whole offense or even a portion of it, but you use him on some plays designed this week.

Regardless how good, bad, or slump-ridden the rest of the WRs are, the Rams did not have a slot receiver, so, it’s not like there’s anyone ahead of him. So you use your new Welker packages and see what happens. Couldn’t hurt.
