Sean McVay took a team that hadn’t made the playoffs in 12 years to the Super Bowl in 2 years. Amazing. Worth his weight in gold to that organization.January 20, 2019 at 6:37 pm #96936AgamemnonParticipantJanuary 20, 2019 at 6:43 pm #96940AgamemnonParticipantJanuary 20, 2019 at 7:19 pm #96950znModeratorLindsey Thiry@LindseyThiry

That no call wasn’t playoff officiating. That was bad officiating. Really bad.Next Gen Stats@NextGenStats
The Rams offense featured Todd Gurley on only 32 offensive plays, his fewest in a game under Sean McVay. C.J. Anderson played more snaps and finished the game with more touches.Anderson: 17 touches on 35 plays

Congrats to these young Rams! This is a resilient team! Wow! Good Game!=

#Rams Marcus Peters on #Saints anger over blown pass interference: “If they coach run the football on first and second down, they probably ain’t even going to be sitting here talking about this. … You give Sean McVay the ball back with 1:43 or something, we’re going to score.”Gregg Rosenthal@greggrosenthal
Saints got the ball 4 times in the 4th quarter and OT. Scored 3 points and Brees turned it over.Peter Schrager@PSchrags
Horrible call? Sure. But the Rams showed inredible heart there, too. Heck of a job by LA, down 10, second half in hardest building to win in, as well.Torry Holt@BigGame81
@JHekker outstanding job getting the ball held for Greg “The Leg” on that game winner. Play of the game quietly #Rams #SB53NFL Research@NFLResearch

The Rams’ star running back stood on the sideline with his helmet on throughout most of the NFC Championship Game and hardly appeared in action as backup C.J. Anderson rushed for 44 yards on 16 carriesSeth Walder

Aaron Donald was double-teamed at a higher rate by the Saints Sunday (79% of pass plays) than in any other game this season. He also was held to his second-lowest pass rush win rate (18%) this year. In the regular season Donald recorded a PRWR of 46%, higher than any other qualifying player in the league. PRWR is an ESPN metric powered by NFL Next Gen Stats.January 21, 2019 at 1:12 am #96992znModeratorVincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
All those tough wins this year that drove fans nuts prepared the #Rams for all this. It’s the #NFL. It’s rarely gonna be easy. Learning how to win, battling, dealing with adversity, that’s what it’s all about. It’s how they could win a game in that environmentThe two Cali quarterbacks beat the two Texas QB’s. Settles that argument once and for all.

Another moment from the Rams’ post-game locker room: Someone tapped Josh Kroenke (Stan’s son, who runs the Nuggets/Avs) on the shoulder with a phone. “It’s Magic Johnson. He wants to say ‘Congratulations.” So very LA.ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk

It wasn’t long ago Ndamukong Suh was deciding between signing with the Los Angeles #Rams and the New Orleans #Saints. He came up big in this game and last week’s game. Safe to say this game would have been different had he chosen the Saints in the offseason.January 21, 2019 at 1:45 am #96996AgamemnonParticipantVincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore

he grew up a little today. and that first quarter interception wasn’t really his fault. i really can’t think of a throw where i thought, “whoa! what are you doing!?”
one questionable decision was late when he had an opportunity to run it in the end zone.
but shoot. considering the circumstances surrounding this game. he played big when it was absolutely needed. was it his best? i hope not. i hope there’s more.
