    Burger cooked in tallow. I think I’ll pass and here’s why.

    My brother rented a place to a chef who had skipped town and left the rental property with at least 50 gallons of tallow. We had know idea what this was…..it smelled like death. We called HAZMAT and they determined what it was… we loaded up the truck and dropped it off at a place called San Jose Tallow and slaughter house. I lived my whole life in this area and I had now idea that this place existed in San Jose… I cant describe how bad the stench was at that place…

    BTW. How I cook and grill my burgers…a few years ago I watched a movie called Ameerka.. about an immigrant single mom from Palestine who ends up in Indiana working at White Castle. There’s a scence where she shows how White Castle cooks the burger directly over onions…
