    off the net from alyoshamucci

I started yapping about Forrest in the middle of the last college season because I got to see some UK games (which is rare) …

I think I had him listed in the 3-4 round range IIRC, but that was because I knew he needed a little molding at the next level.

He’s an ex WR who was simply a sideline to sideline thumper in the SEC.

Then he slipped to round 6, we picked him, and I was ecstatic.

    Why?

The last 3 (Woodward, Travathan, Williamson) late round UK LBs all started their rookie seasons.

My guess is sooner than later he is manning the Sam … he’s 255 and has run routes before so coverage shouldn’t take him too long.

His last PS game he took over and made some really instinctive plays … 4 … behind the LOS.

I’m excited about having one of the most athletic LB corps in the NFL.

Quick note on Littleton … I think he’s a situatuonal pass rusher like Bruce Irvin.

Fisher says he hopes “this is not the end” between Ayers and the Rams.

That could be. Forrest, though, has a future either way, I think.

    Fisher said this:

If you were to assume that this is the group we’re going to San Francisco with, it would be incorrect.

They still have udfas LBs Littleton and Grigsby on the roster, one of them could be cut and moved to the Practice Squad.
