I am sure this does not include the practice squad and it is just for the 51 man roster. So subtract ~2 million.
The salary cap sites won’t quite match this cause,,,,,,,they aren’t 100 per cent accurate. 😉 4.7 million sounds good to me for the start of the season. We will have to see what the actual figure is when the season starts.
The 51 rule doesn’t expire until tomorrow, when they have to add the last 2 players to the cap figure. I am not sure when the practice squad get officially counted either. Anyway, I am going with 4.7 for now.

This is a close as I have seen Spotrac. If you delete Watts, who is on the SUS, You get ~4.7 million. I guess it works that when Watts comes off the SUS, the Rams will gain ~400k. Like if you took a player off IR. imo

Probably, cause the excess cap space is mostly for IR now. I think 3 million is the space that teams reserve for that.?
I think it is more likely that they use any excess to try to sign their future FAs. imo
If they need more cap space, the next thing they would probably do is restructure Quinn for another 4 million in cap space. imo
