     #49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey has Achilles tendinitis, according to HC Kyle Shanahan. In general Achilles tendonitis can take a few months to heal, but we do not know the severity of CMC’s case.

    #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan says that RB Christian McCaffrey had his worst day health wise yesterday in terms of pain. IR is now under consideration, which would mean missing at least the next four games.

    Well, they dont need McCaffrey till playoff time.  I’d be surprised if they use him at all prior to game  10 or so.
