TSRFParticipant
Huge loss and agree one of the best of all time.
GOAT is always subjective. I kind of lean toward Ginger Baker. Keith Moon was right up there, as was the Led Zep guy and the ELP guy…
Still, Neil Pert was awesome and will live on forever because of the music he has recorded.
January 9, 2020 at 7:16 am in reply to: Is McVay going to adequately replace both Wade & Bones? #110228TSRFParticipantSeems to me McVay is on a Power Trip. He’s doing a Trump; getting rid of all the adults in the room so he can do exactly what he wants. I’m afraid he’s going to flame out. It’s too bad. Once he is out and has a year or two to reflect on why and how it all went wrong, he’s going to come back and be a much better coach for some other team.
TSRFParticipantBittersweet.
I kind of like bitter more than sweet, so I hope they take the bitter feeling of not making the playoffs and get better in the offseason. By the way, I am a fan of Son of Bum, I hope he returns.
TSRFParticipantgods help us (please)!
(not like you helped us Rams fans Saturday night, but maybe like you helped the Cardinals fan today).
Good day.
TSRFParticipantThanks, Ag.
Merry Christmas to all, whatever your beliefs (or lack thereof.. (me being on the lacking side)).
Matt
TSRFParticipantDamn, I was hoping Hill was going to give it a go.
Go Rams; tough game…
TSRFParticipantTrump re-elected is my nightmare come true. 2020 may be the last time this could happen; the demographics are trending Democrat…
Gods help us if he gets re-elected. Would be the beginning of a Trump dynasty.
TSRFParticipant…and the Orange area on the CBC single map is Giants-Dolphins. It caught my eye because it includes the portion of Connecticut (Fairfield County) where I live.
More proof that Fairfield County is really part of Tri-State and the rest of CT is New England.
TSRFParticipantHappy Thanksgiving to all.
We’ll get ’em next year!
TSRFParticipantFor me, the loss last night makes the SB loss even more painful. Who knows when we’ll be back now…
TSRFParticipantBilly, I think you stole my thunder: Archie Manning. Awesome talent, nothing around him…
I’d also hitch my wagon to Dan Fouts.
Warren Beatty would be third, then Mick Jagger and Judge Judy.
TSRFParticipantDoes he have a No Trade clause? If yes, I don’t think he is going to be traded. In fact, if they DO trade him, I think that will signal that they are giving up on this year.
Maybe I’m wrong, but wouldn’t it be a big shot in the arm to get Talib back for a playoff run?
TSRFParticipantOur Kupp was more than half full…
I did not watch the game live, and have only seen highlights, but I’m a little concerned about the D’s performance too.
The only way we win the division is if we sweep the rest of our NFC West games. 12-22 @ San Fran just seems like too high of a hill to climb. I do see the 9ers hitting a rough patch with games at Ravens and Saints, but if the Cards or Seahawks can’t sneak in a win against the 9ers, best case for us is Wild Card.
TSRFParticipantIntangible, and here is why: When the Rams beat the Cowboys two years ago, they were sporting one of the ugliest looks I can remember. Blue helmets with white horns, blue and gold shirts, I blocked out any memory of the pants, but the combo was horrific. And we still won.
I rest my case.
TSRFParticipantCall me crazy, but I think the Rams will find a way to win this one.
October 19, 2019 at 7:10 am in reply to: Elijah Cummings, Baltimore congressman and civil rights leader, dies at 68 #106913TSRFParticipantRIP, Elijah
His leadership and moral compass will be sorely missed.
TSRFParticipantAll the movement around the D, but our QB just had a Deiter Brockian performance. We need OL. Go get us the guy who isn’t reporting to Washington.
Enjoy the team now. The way we’re trading away picks like drunken sailors means to me that once this run is done, we’re done for a WHILE…
TSRFParticipantI want to scout the 9er’s, but my Yankees are also going for the ALDS sweep. And, I have to wake up at 4:30 AM to get to Beverly, MA before a 9:30 AM meeting with a customer.
I did go and see the Giants / Vikings live yesterday. Either the Giants suck, or the Vikings are back, or something in between.
TSRFParticipantLet’s party like it’s 1979…
TSRFParticipantWV, this is actually going to be Game 5.
Did you mean the TB told us a lot, or are you saying the Seattle game is going to tell us a lot?
Sorry, being an engineer, I’m a numbers guy.
I have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow, and it is making me a bit sick to my stomach.
September 27, 2019 at 5:47 pm in reply to: RAMS TV Map for game 4 & informal poll — will the Rams get untracked v. Tampa? #105793TSRFParticipantHold on here… The Giants play at 1, the Rams at 4. Does that mean whoever gets the Giants game at 1 doesn’t get a late game?
I know they’re coming for my guns, but does this mean they are going to shoot my puppy when the get them?OK, I don’t have any guns or a puppy, but I hope you get my point…
TSRFParticipantI’m usually angry and grumpy after a Rams loss. I’m a little angry and definitely grumpy today, but I’m not sure why. Maybe because the 49ers won, and the Patriots won, but that was a given.
Maybe it is because I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it ain’t a Super Bowl victory this year; it’s the train coming to run my sorry old ass down.
TSRFParticipantOf course Planet David Bowie exits. Was there ever a question?
TSRFParticipantBTW, the map kind of looks like “Man in the High Castle” right before we surrendered to the Nazis and the Japanese…
TSRFParticipantWow. The guy next door asked me yesterday if I wanted to go to the Giants – Bills game with him. I have to admit that the Giants are my second favorite NFC team, but I knew the Rams were going to be on my free TV as the late game. When I just read that Joe Fucking Buck is doing the game, I texted him and said I was in. Actually went out and bought a Weber Smokey Joe grill (only $35.00; of course, I will fire it up tonight to outgas the paint and whatnot).
I’ll tape the game, but I’ll watch it with the volume OFF. Really, can’t state how much I can’t stand that jerk.
TSRFParticipantI don’t know… We are really good destroyers (Shiva and Kali are very proud, I’m sure). Not quite sure how good we’d be at the Brahma gig. Everything needs to die, and if the American Chestnut can’t get off the mat by itself, then it probably needs to stay dead. Like the Wooly Mammoth, and the Neanderthals, and the dinosaurs, and God.
TSRFParticipantFunny. I live in two different worlds; literally: The first is Tri-State (AKA NYC Suburbs). The second is North Shore Boston. I’m usually in North Shore two to three days a week. When I am up there, I tend to listen to Sports Radio 98.5 FM, the Sports Hub. Back in Tri-State, I tend to listen to 660 AM WFAN. Interestingly, driving to MA, I have about 1.5 Hrs of New York Sports Radio, then 1.5 Hrs of Boston Radio. My god, they are a bunch of whiny bitches.
Anyway, the whole point of this rant (I mean, post) is because when Brady put his house on the market, the first question was, “Is there a team that is just a QB away from winning it all who would sign Brady for one year.” And, much to my chagrin, they picked the Rams as the team that is a really good team but has a bad QB.So, I ask you all, if we don’t win it all this year, and we don’t resign Goff, do we think about a 43 year old Brady??
TSRFParticipantHmm… I wonder who is happy about this development?
Dead perverts tell no tales, especially about living perverts.
TSRFParticipantMy broken heart just ripped a little more. When is enough enough? Why can they see the real reason and act on it in places like Australia and New Zealand, but we, the greatest country in the world, can’t see the plain truth right before our eyes?
Gods help me, gods forgive me, we are reaping what we have sown…
TSRFParticipantIt bloody well better be all cleaned up before I have to move my daughter into her apartment in northern DC on the 5th.
Say what you will about Trump, he sure knows how to pander to his base.
