Yeah – so Brady gets the advantage and Luck doesn’t. Clear cheating. Sounds like they were probably altered post inspection. Probably. Who did it? Investigation ongoing. What if Brady did it? What if he had some needle tech in his gloves or uni that let a little air out? What if it was ordered by Bellicheat? Let’s see if the NFL does a real investigation this time. Could be VERY damaging to the league. What if the officials were in on it? Since its all about $$$, I bet this gets swept under the rug….again. The NFL is going to protect their own. The whole thing sucks. The Patriots suck. Thing is, they would be good without this crap, but would they be great???

I don’t think we know WHO played with the deflated balls yet and what the advantage was. Assuming a better grip in shitty conditions. What if Brady got this advantage but Luck didn’t? Just cause they were not caught cheating post spygate doesn’t mean they didn’t. They have a history. TAINTED. I don’t know how many SB they would have won if they had not cheated. Nobody does. Shame because maybe they are great or maybe they won only because they cheated. We don’t know. TAINTED.

I guess we will never really know how many SB titles these guys would have without cheating – including this year. Proven cheaters every year they won a SB. That Spygate book is a good read. They should let the Ravens and Colts play this weekend to represent AFC is SB. All their titles will always have an * next to them for me.

Well first a board should have all sorts of views. It should range all over the opinion map. There should be surprising conversations that come from that interaction. No one should feel they have to apologize for a position they hold. Now, obviously, I think we all agree it can’t be personal, and posters shouldn’t be knocking each other…they shouldn’t be derisive and dismissive of other views.

STFU zn, your opinion doesn’t count.

Bernie is going to bash a lot now that the LA cat is out of the bag. Comparing the Denver situation? Really? Apples and Oranges. Cards? How well did they do after we knocked their QBs out? Bernie is a douche.

I don’t agree. Wilson fits a scheme. He gets to qb a team that is 32nd in passing attempts and 27th in passing yards, but 1st in defense and 4th in rushing attempts.

Subtract Lynch from that offense and make it a decent and not great defense, and Wilson is far more exposed.

I can name 7-8 better and it’s not splitting hairs, they’re better.

    Brady
    Luck
Rogers – give u those guys.

I feel the next tier (Brees, Rivers, Rothlisberger, Flacco, P. Manning (at his age) are all very even if not under Rusty Wilson. Debatable. Course there is always the wonder boy A. Davis…

Wilson makes that O go. You could argue Lynch, but I think Wilson is the man is Seattle – we will find out more over the next two weeks and next season when Lynch is likely gone. Dude makes plays when things break down – is the BEST running QB in the league and a great passer – reminds me of Steve Young. He is a top 5 QB. Name 5 better and its splitting hairs. Plus he already has the hardware and is looking for more.

But counting on a raw college player that was 3rd sting until a few games ago is a better plan? I’m with zn on this one.

As insurance for Sam’s balky knees? – yeah I think it’s a good risk/plan. Hard to say if he would work out and there are no sure things at 10 overall, but no greater need. Just read where the kid himself said he wasn’t ready tho – I guess he would know. The talent they have stocked is gonna go to waste without a workable number 2 QB plan, that I am pretty sure of.

I would rather they roll the dice at 10 than trade picks or mortgage the future to move up. Sick of losing.

Except reaching for a qb is more or less a guarantee of losing.

Sitting their hands is more of a guarantee of losing IMO. Who is out there that is less of a risk? Cutler? Some journeyman? More Hill or Davis? No thanks.

    I agree with lyser.

Not really–but I haven’t heard from him in awhile and am being polite. Not that he gives a shit.

Here’s the thing: I did not see the game. Never saw the kid. Just saw the highlights(mostly of the running back and offensive line of OSU and that tight end). So I have too little info or knowledge of him. However, I would not pick him 10th because the Rams have to address the offensive line at that spot.

I would not take any of these quarterbacks at 10 and that includes the top two guys.

In the second round I’d be a little more open but not necessarily sold and in the third round I’d probably think about it.

Joemad makes three great points against him.

But the Rams don’t have a lot of choice really. They have to roll the dice on someone in some early round.

Hundley, Petty, the kid from East Carolina, Jones–someone. There is no guaranty with any of them.

I like the idea of giving Petty a shot but I saw him all of one game–his bowl game.

I tell you this–I’d rather they pick Jones(3rd round) than give up a single extra pick to move up for Winston or Mariota.

They are going to roll the dice on a young QB this year–and it probably won’t work out. But what else can they do?

    Hi PA.

Yeah – 10 is a pretty long reach – but what if he ain’t there in round 2 or 3? You go get your guy if you have done due diligence and he is indeed your guy. Maybe he is dumb – kinda sounds it, but maybe he is just immature. I see the Rams as (finally) pretty solid. They need a QB and OL really…and they have FA and the rest of the draft to get OL. I am sick of QB holding this team back – they are build to play good D and run the ball – they just need a triggerman – if they wait the current talent base will be eroded. I would rather they roll the dice at 10 than trade picks or mortgage the future to move up. Sick of losing.

Again, I agree – it’s a risk – but Rams gotta do something at QB and it doesn’t look like Mariota or Winston are an option…are they less of a risk even if they were? Winston may be a head case. Mariotta may be good with Chip Kelly but nowhere else. Whatcha gonna do? Sam’s knees are in worse shape than Kurt’s pinkies. Maybe Big Ben or one of the Manning brothers wants to play in St. Louis…er, LA or somethin

I agree with all that – that is the issue – he is an unknown and clearly not ready – but the ceiling is very high. Like I said, weird situation. He won’t start anywhere next year unless he transfers or is again forced to because of injuries. I still say his situation and the Rams situation makes it a good match.

It’s true, I have been moderated. All that cursing was just token, I’m not that guy anymore. Been clean almost as long as you been vegetarian or vegan or whatever the hell it is you do to yourself. Got a nephew that just did his first year in at WVU- I’ll warn you if I am headed that way this Fall for a game, give you plenty of time to get another dog, chain the doors and switch up all the locks.

The Crouch Jersey is sweet. My memory isn’t what it used to be, but didn’t MM draft him to be a safety? Man, those were some horrible drafts – set us back forever. I hated JF as a Titan, but I gotta say I like the guy as a Ram.

I wouldn’t change a thing about this place, thanks RM!

Can we still say “fuck” here? If so, I’m in. People might say I’m vulgar, but that is a load of god-damn dick-beating fucking bullshit. Ok, got that out of my system. Nice digs.
