Gotta give ’em a taste of their own medicine – make a Pick 6 play on D. Make a play on teams. And run the damn ball.
I don’t know why I waste my football prognosticating smarts on you lot
October 6, 2015 at 5:48 pm in reply to: week 5 stats, including "Rams have played 3 top 5 defenses" #31853lyserParticipantPersonally I think Pitt Panthers rock the house over both mountanqueers and nittany Lyons. Just saying
October 6, 2015 at 5:41 pm in reply to: week 5 stats, including "Rams have played 3 top 5 defenses" #31852lyserParticipantWhat a dick nitt is to Wv in this thread. Laffs
lyserParticipantI like Matty ice and orange Julius. That is the d coordinator from Seattle in the ATL now correct? They may have something. NFC south was pathetically weak last year tho.
Who knows, I just thought the film showed a very talented Rams roster and Arizona is actually really fucking loaded on both sides of the ball. Both teams were flying around -Rams pretty lucky to get that one -hopefully a team learning how to close
lyserParticipantMayhap. I haven’t looked – have they played anyone? Who is catching passes in Charlotte?
lyserParticipantVery unselfish by that kid – like that a lot.
September 30, 2015 at 8:34 am in reply to: Rams sign Toon to PS, move McGee to reg roster, and cut Pead. #31448lyserParticipantWho returnes kickoffs? Cunningham? Really, I don’t care, as long as it’s someone who won’t fumble.
95% sure it has been Benny since Week 1 when he was in the “feature” role

lyserParticipantGotta give ’em a taste of their own medicine – make a Pick 6 play on D. Make a play on teams. And run the damn ball.
lyserParticipantDammit – THAT was a winnable game Sunday against the Steelers! The D showed up – the O, well – not so much.
Big game Sunday to even up the record. I think the Rams could match up well with Arizona, need some bounces to go the Rams way. Fingers crossed.
Looking ahead, GB looks tough. Brutal opening schedule. Gotta have one of the next two though…
September 24, 2015 at 10:15 am in reply to: Feeling good about Sunday…the "will Rams beat Steelers" thread #31107lyserParticipantI dunno. But i think they better.
w
vMaybe your Morgantown boys will do something this week on O or teams – see to that will ya?
lyserParticipantYou know what – yer right. Who the heck am I to tell others what to think or how to post. Nobody, that’s who. Why should I care if somebody is overly optimistic or pessimistic? I don’t. I feel embarrassed – was I trying to actually shame another poster? Not my style. Maybe I should silently drink the stfu and have a self reflective timeout. A different mix of opinions is what spices this place up, be boring and a waste of time if we all agreed and sucked each other’s dicks all the time. So next time I read an over-the-top, ridiculous, never-gonna-happen negative post that I would maybe expect from a forty-fuckin-niner fan, I’ll just roll my eyes silently to myself. No matter how FUCKING STUPID some of the shit I see squeezed out of your keyboards and into the inner webs basin, I’ll just be a regular Sergeant Goddamn Schultz. No matter how much SMARTER, ARTICULATE, BETTER LOOKING, and MORE LIKELY TO GO TO HEAVEN I am compared to all of YOU – I’ll be Hellen sausage-stealing Keller and will stay mum in regards to all of your STUPID FUCKING GODDAMN BRAINLESS FUCKTARDED OPINIONS…
…hmmm, sorry, had to get that preseason rant out of the way. Should be good till at least the bye week…I’ll um, just see myself out…uh…
…fuck the patriots?
lyserParticipantLaram on the topic of Away Games.
w
v———————————————————
Laram – Realistically the Rams could lose every away game…except probably the Washington game.
New qb, playing behind a young an inexperienced o-line in hostile environments, against top pass rushers, is a recipe for failure.
at Washington – (toss up) Home field favors the Skins and Rams coming off of a physical game against Seattle
at Cardinals – I expect Calais Campbell and Okafor to wreck the Rams o-line.
at Green Bay – Definite home field advantage, loud and will cause the Rams problems with line calls. Will probably have to go with hand signals.
at Vikings – Young improving team with a good pass rush. Everson Griffen and A. Barr can get after it.
at Ravens – Tough place to play under any circumstances. Suggs and Elvis Dumerville licking their chops for this one
at Bengals – Another tough game in a hostile environment against a tough D.
at Seahags – It’s been impossible for us to win there under normal circumstances. The Rams will again have to go to hand signals in this game
at Niners – Niners aren’t what they were, but this is Rams/Niners in theri house.
Looks like 1-7 possibly 2- 6 at best to me on the road.
Yeah, the optimism flows from that guy like the springtime sludge down my gutters. I get it – been what – a dozen year playoff drought? A record 3 season run of futility in there too I think. I would not be surprised at all if the wheels fell off again to be honest – shit That OL might get Foles killed as early as this Sunday. Williams is inconsistent seems like – does he HAVE to blitz every fucking play with all that talent?
Yet, it could go the other way too. Scratch out 9 or 10 wins, stay healthy and peak just in time for the tournament.
To borrow a phrase – I dunno. I DO know this – it’s just football, I don’t really see the point of getting all negative before the season even starts. How is that fun? I’ve never understood what benefit is derived from predicting epic failure with every post. Sure – war, death, famine, failure and jeezus helpus – losing football may be in our immediate future, but we don’t know – really could go either way it seems this season – so why not just sit down, have a big glass of shut-the-fuck-up and try to enjoy the run-up to kickoff weekend?
lyserParticipantfuck u wv – we only lost because they cheated whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, if u read Martz’s comments he acknowledges what u say – 3 turnovers I think it was – that was the difference.
Sad thing – that 2001 Ram team was better than the ’99 team. We win that game 9 out of 10 times.
I will never believe the “better team won” that day – how do we know Law was not tipped off on the route via signal theft? How do we know they didn’t abduct Proehl the night before, place a Ceti eel larvae in his ear thus rendering him susceptible to the suggestion that he fumble away a big play at a critical moment? Huh? How do we KNOW? They obviously are big fat cheaters – I wouldn’t put anything past them. Cool thing is everybody knows it now – asterisk firmly in place. Laff.
Also, I strongly suggest you remove that fuckin’ utube link in your post – fucking disgusting – nobody wants to see that.
Oh, and fuck the Patriots again.

lyserParticipantOh, um…fuck the Patriots. Forgot to say that earlier.
lyserParticipantHi PA.
That ESPN story dredging up spygate just before opening weekend is a gift to us all – up there with novel dissociates and unexpected sex in terms of things that make me smile.
The Pats are getting killed in the media right now and those asterisks next to their Lombardi Trophies are becoming more and more cemented into the mainstream consciousness with every news article, TV spot and ESPN ticker tape mention.
The news isn’t really new – “Spygate – The Untold Story” by Brian O’Leary came out in 2012, but probably was not widely digested by the sheeple on your block. Now, ESPN is milking the story for clicks and views – rock on tabloid sports network!
If we had to lose that stupid game in New Orleans, having the one two years earlier, the NY Giants taking it to them twice (once nullifying their bid for the perfect season), deflategate and now this brutal ESPN report somewhat dulls that pain.
There is probably a saying about how you shouldn’t take pleasure in another’s misfortune, but those bean masticating deviants deserve to choke in a cloud of their own rancid flatulence while being dry humped in the court of public perception.

August 25, 2015 at 8:04 am in reply to: Karraker: Is Fisher Still Capable of Being a Winning Coach? #29270lyserParticipantHe took over a disaster – worse than an expansion team. They “should” take a step forward this year, but even if they don’t Fisher ain’t going anywhere until the stadium/moving issue is resolved. He has another 2 seasons before his seat even gets warm I would think. Plus, I get the sense he would really have to bungle things for SK to make a move – he wants that Pats/Billicheat stability.
Me? I have warmed up to Fisher. I think he will have success either this year or next year. The Rams are well positioned to have sustained success.
lyserParticipantHow is this “bad advice”? – the only thing stupid about is that it actually needs to be said. Everyone needs their own “Corey and Trevor” – duh.
August 20, 2015 at 9:30 pm in reply to: Rams rumored to be in the mix to trade a WR to Panthers #29030lyserParticipantI saw that too – must mean Givens but I think he probably sticks.
lyserParticipantis this freaking serious? Evidence in preseason game ONE???? REALLY??????
Well, if it matters that much to you.
The last time that the Rams faced the Raiders to open up preseason and allowed 18 points, they won the Super Bowl.
Sweet! That settles it then!
Seriously though, that preseason WAS a foreshadowing of things to come – course it ended up being Warner leading the O instead of TG, but that offense was balls out in the preseason.
lyserParticipantNo, I don’t think we have seen “evidence” of a top D yet this preseason.
I also agree that I would feel a lot better if I AT LEAST saw guys dominating 1 on 1 match-ups and showing “flashes” – my impression is we have not seen that either. Therefore, I share your concerns after preseason game 1.
However, I also know everything in preseason must be taken with a substantial grain of salt simply because we do not know where “winning” falls on the priority list for either side. It would be easy for me to believe Oakland game-planned and prioritized winning much higher than the Rams for this game.
That’s why they say we won’t know much at all “until the real bullets fly”.
lyserParticipantHow is this news? The Cardinals hired that big girl Arians as HEAD COACH a coupla seasons ago.
laff laff laff – I am so freakin’ funny!!!
May 19, 2015 at 9:12 am in reply to: The Lawrence Philips mini-series (not literally, just a metaphor) #24852lyserParticipantI didn’t know a lot of that about LP. Some seem to be able to rise above their horrible childhoods while others are doomed by similar circumstances.
I saw a thing on Mike Tyson over the weekend – it was just him on stage talking about his life – “the undisputed truth” I think it was called. It was sad, funny, and uplifting all at once – really, really good. Tyson seems to have his shit together these days.
lyserParticipantThis is a team BUILT for late/post season football. Fisher teams (good ones anyway) get stronger as the season grinds on. Too bad about the dome…I mean LA
lyserParticipantWe got the girly man! Tailback U beiotch! That knee – ffs with acls!
Hope this kid does an Adrian Peterson – could be so solid.
Can Zac Stacy play Guard? Does he have trade value?
Did the Collinz kid kill that girl?
Will Bazooka Joe be back?
What are we gonna do with all that cap space?
These questions and more are answered next time on “As the Rams Turn”.
lyserParticipantJust watched this and then did some googling on Ron and the religion. Interesting what sheeple believe on “faith”.
Really, is it any more “out there” than what the “mainstream” religions believe?
The Christians, Muslims and Jews have left a lot more bodies in their wake – but then they have been around a lot longer.
I can comment more on Scientology when I am able to afford the legal fees.
lyserParticipantI’m surprised Bradford had that much value. He is a huge risk. It might work out for everybody but if it goes pear shaped for on either side its gonna hurt the Eagles a lot more than the Rams.
lyserParticipantI TOLD Chip NOT to take the brown acid. Mr. Kelly is tripping. Methinks he is ruining that team.
I’m cool with continuing to fleece the NFC East – maybe the Giants wanna give up that crazy haired receiver they drafted last year for half a stick of gum and an empty Budweiser can?
Hey Jerry, I’ll take Dez off your hands and a coupla those olinemen you got laying around for a used can of hairspray and this Styx 8-track.
lyserParticipantThe good news is lots of “balls” jokes now. A few off the cuff:
“I always thought Tom Brady had deflated balls”
“I am always careful to check Tom’s balls now”
“Luck’s balls were perfect”
“Bellycheat has funky balls”
“Don’t Deflate my balls bro”
Those were terrible, better check my balls ’cause my game is off.
lyserParticipantThat Gordon article is complete crap IMO. The formation shenanigans against the Raven’s were legal. I’m sure they will adjust the rule. Spygate? Definite cheating. If the Pats tampered with the balls? Definite cheating.
Comparing to the Ram’s fortunes’? Irrelevant.
Comparing to the formations stuff? Irrelevant.
The rules are there to be followed, if you break them, it is cheating. Law works the same way.
The NFL has to decide if this impacts their bottom line or corrupts the system further. Will fans stop watching? Probably not right now. Will other coaches/organizations start cheating every chance they get? I guess they should, that is how you win Super Bowls – isn’t that the message? If that happens, will fans stay interested? Questionable. I know I could not root for my team/bet on games/enjoy the league if it descended into a “Only Cheaters Win” situation.
