Though he could, after 2019, demand a trade instead of being tagged. The tag numbers for a DT actually are a lowball compared to a fair market 20+ M contract. Under those conditions do the Rams sit on him or a la Dickerson would they be forced to trade him? I think they would have no choice but to trade him.BUT that’s a worst case scenario that assumes a negative scenario in which the Rams are lowballing him NOW and that he has (from his pov) nothing to sign.
If that happens everybody loses. imo
AgamemnonParticipantOkay, true, but remember—we don’t really know what the Rams have offered and what Donald will accept.
.
That is true, but time is not Donald’s friend.

What’s unclear right now is what the endgame is for Aaron Donald and his camp. It doesn’t make sense for him to hold out past deadline and lose a year of service. Then, he has zero leverage.Playing for ~$7 million inste3ad of $20+ million will lose him a chunk of change that will be hard to make up. imo

AgamemnonParticipantRams’ reaction to anthem policy will be interesting. The only player who did anything during the anthem last year (Rob Quinn) is gone. Marcus Peters sat last year in KC. McVay has talked of respect for anthem but also respect for players’ views.

Rams Awarded RB Larry Rose Off WaiversPosted 37 minutes ago
Kristen Lago Rams Writer/Reporter @kristennlago
The Rams have been awarded running back Larry Rose off waivers from Tennessee. The New Mexico product signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent and participated in their rookie minicamp early last week.
Rose was one of the Aggies most productive running backs in recent history. He was a third-team All-American in 2015, along with the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year for his impressive sophomore campaign. Through four years in New Mexico, Rose recorded 4,563 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns on 771 carries.
Los Angeles current roster now stands at 90 players.
