I do these a bit differently. I bake the potato until it is almost done, then I slice it. Then shallow fry it for 2-3 minutes on each side. It should turn into a french fry but shaped like a disc. This I call a menu for Christmas. š
I was taking a trip on Amtrak. I didn’t like what was on the dinner menu. I asked the guy if I could have sloppy joes and fries off the kids menu. Then everybody else wanted that too. lol

AgamemnonParticipantMy Homemade Ketchup is a success.
~95% anyway. š
6 oz. tomato paste.
4 oz. water.
4 oz. vinegar…..I used half apple cider vinegar and half just plain white vinegar.
4 teaspoons white sugar.
1 teaspoon salt.
.
Just mix it up no cooking required and the consistency is close.
You can heat the water and vinegar to dissolve the salt and sugar.
This is way less sugar than most recipes, but I like it and I think it close to Hunts Ketchup. That is the ketchup I like best.I will do another batch to check the recipe.
****Revised – change vinegar to from 2 oz. to 4 oz. It was a typo. I just wrote it down wrong when I posted.
AgamemnonParticipantIf you used stevia instead of sugar, how much? Any guesstimate will do. Thanks!
http://www.stevia.net/conversion.html

Letās say youāve decided to substitute stevia for the sugar in some of your favorite recipes. How do you determine the amount to use? Unfortunately, we canāt give you an exact answer for several reasons. Very sour foods like cranberries and lemons need more sweetener than a pie baked with apples or pears, which are naturally sweet. Then thereās personal preference. Some people like their foods sweeter than others. Thereās also a cultural difference. As a rule, Americans like their foods sweet.
To complicate matters even further, there are a number of different companies that make stevia. The quality, flavor, and sweetness varies from product to product. Your best option is to try a few different brands and choose the one you like best. Some companies combine pure stevia powder with maltodextrin or another filler. While such products are still sweet, they donāt compare in strength to the pure powder.
Although different stevia products offer different levels of sweetness, we have provided approximate stevia equivalencies. When substituting stevia for sugar, use the following chart to determine proper amounts. Remember, these equivalents are approximate.
When you need only the smallest amount of sweetener to flavor a cup of tea or coffee, for example, you may find the stevia powder a little difficult to adjust. Even the tiny amount you may gather onto the point of a dinner knife might make that cup of tea or coffee too sweet. For this reason, we recommend turning the powder into a āworking solution.ā
Dissolve one teaspoon of white powder in three tablespoons of filtered water. Pour the solution into a dropper-style bottle and refrigerate. You can also buy ready-made stevia liquid concentrate from your local health food store.
The stevia powder referred to in this chart is the pure form, or the liquid made from the pure powder.
There does not seem to be an exact conversion. According to this, about 1/4 teaspoon?
AgamemnonParticipanthttps://topsecretrecipes.com/heinz-ketchup-copycat-recipe.html

This is what I started with.
The first batch was way too sweet.
The second batch didn’t taste right, so I cut out the cooking. Not all recipes call for cooking. I think that is just to get the right consistency.
The third batch was pretty good.

AgamemnonParticipantIMO? Not Talib. I am for drafting depth behind Talib, but not on cutting him for cap space and then replacing him with a rookie.
Ok. You can keep Talib. š
AgamemnonParticipantCB is not as much of a need. Sure up the front 7 and get a Free Safety. Plus, we are limited in picks, even if we get the two 3rd round comp picks as expected. We donāt have anyone on this roster that that is tradable, and that our team is willing to trade a first round pick for, that we are willing to give up.
I mean there are players like Donald, Gurley and Goff, but they are untouchable and a few others that may fall here, but Iām talking about guys not untouchable worth 1st or 2nd round picks.
At $8 and $9 million, I am in favor of drafting replacements for Peters and Talib.

Jared Goff Is Really Struggling
DeadspinDecember 17, 2018There is plenty to discuss about Jared Goff and the suddenly mortal Los Angeles Rams, but Goffās panicked third-quarter interception was so inexplicable that itād be a disservice to push it any further down this post, so:

— Cameron DaSilva (@camdasilva) December 17, 2018
The Jared Goff who seemed like an obvious MVP candidate three weeks ago is nowhere to be seen. In his last three games, Goff has only one touchdown against seven interceptions; compare that to 26 and six over the first 11 weeks of the season. The Rams were perhaps the best team in the NFL through 11 weeks, winning the game of the season and only dropping a thriller to the Saints, in which Goff played heroically. Since winning that Monday Night Football classic, Los Angeles has gone 1-2, struggling to dispatch the Lions two weeks ago, getting crunched by the Bears last week, and convincingly losing to the Nick Foles-led Eagles this week, their first home loss of the season. This is the first time the Rams have lost consecutive games in Sean McVayās tenure, and while his much-vaunted play-calling ability hasnāt been up to par the past few weeks, much of the blame falls on Goff.
As ProFootballTalk pointed out, Goffās 51.3 passer rating in that stretch is the worst among all NFL starters. His deep ball has abandoned him, which seems to be the product of how defenses are playing him. The Lions seemed to find success disrupting Goff with unpredictable pressure, a game plan which the Bears and Eagles elaborated on with gusto. Defenders have also been playing softer coverage and forcing Goff to throw underneath.
Obviously, every team wants to pressure every quarterback, but Goff seems less equipped to deal with it than the others in his tier. As the horror turnover against the Eagles demonstrated, heās a bit too liable to panic when things break down. And unfortunately, things are breaking down with alarming regularity.
The Rams offensive line has played a big part in the offense's recent struggles:
First 10 weeks:
78 pressures allowed (6th fewest)
Pass blocking efficiency: 83.7 (t-4th best)Last 4 weeks (just 3 games):
51 pressures allowed (4th most)
Pass blocking efficiency: 71.4 (3rd worst)— ZoltĆ”n Buday (@PFF_Zoltan) December 10, 2018
āHeās got to make better decisions, especially when we end up falling out underneath the center on third and one,ā McVay said. āSometimes the only play is to just eat it, take that sack and letās go ahead and punt it right there.ā
Goff didnāt throw a pass for more than 20 yards until the fourth quarter last night, and according to ESPN Stats & Information, he is 2-for-13 with four interceptions on passes that traveled 15 or more yards in the air. Five of his seven picks in the current stretch have also been deep interceptions. Less time in the pocket will dramatically decrease a quarterbackās ability to throw deep, as will fewer weapons. Cooper Kupp has been a favorite target for Goff over the last two years, and heās been out since Week 10 with a torn ACL. Kupp was not only a rare slot receiver who could be a deep threat, he was a tremendous third-down receiver. Without him, the offense canāt move the chains as consistently.
Since Cooper Kupp went down in Week 10, the Rams' 3rd-down percentage has gone from 45.3 to 32.6. Kupp ā a crisp route runner with sure hands and great field awareness ā was Jared Goff's most trusted 3rd-down option for a reason.

Thankfully for the Rams, they only have games against the Cardinals and 49ers left on their schedule, and the No. 1 seed is still very much on the table. They donāt need to panic yet, but itās become clear that there are legitimate holes in a team that once looked utterly world-destroying.
