AgamemnonParticipantSorry Mike, however you justify it, it is only hearsay. I think Fisher will lie to anybody.
He had a qb forced on him before and was public in his displeasure.
Plus I genuinely doubt SK is so stupid he believes 2 things: 1, that a draft pick will bring in ticket sales, and 2, that you can force a qb on a head coachā¦especially if it involves a LOT of draft picks.
Carroll Rosenbloom was that stupid. I donāt believe SK is.
Right now I donāt believe Fisher is lying as much as I believe that angry fans will believe ANYTHING negative about him. Likely or not.
Btw ag, Fisher speaking is direct testimony. Whether it is accepted as true or not. Keyshawn citing unnamed āinsideā and āoutsideā (!) sources is hearsay. (What are outside sources? āMy grocer saysā¦ā)
.
I believed that before any of this came out. So, I don’t need any of it to confirm or deny. I guess there is a difference, if you can actually name your source, but it remains effectively the same to me.
I believe Goff was an LA marketing decision, not a football decision. Others are free to believe different.

AgamemnonParticipanthttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Williams_(cornerback)On April 27, 2013, Williams was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.[4]
On August 26, 2013, he was placed on the Injured Reserve list due to a pectoral injury.[5]
On September 14, 2014, Steve Williams made his NFL debut recording two tackles. Williams at times played as the nickel corner on nickel and sub packages. On December 20, 2014 against the San Francisco 49ers, Williams replaced an injured Shareece Wright. Williams recorded 4 tackles and 2 pass deflections.[citation needed]
On September 27, 2015 against the Minnesota Vikings, Williams caught his first career interception from Teddy Bridgewater who was throwing towards the end zone.[citation needed] On January 3, 2016, against the Denver Broncos, Williams recorded a sack, two forced fumbles, and an interception all in the same game.
On September 4, 2016, the San Diego Chargers waived Williams so they could make room for other players they claimed off waivers. [6]

04/24/2013 – 2013 NFL DRAFT RANG’S GANG: Nickel CB: Steve Williams, California, 5-09, 181, 4.34…With many teams playing their third cornerback more often than they do their middle linebacker, I thought it appropriate to list my favorite at this specific position. It would be easy to peg Tyrann Mathieu here as I believe it is where he projects best and few play the game with the ferocity of the aptly-nicknamed Honey Badger. Williams, however, is every bit the LSU star’s match in terms of pure coverage ability and yet few outside of the Pac-12 know his name. He’s shorter than ideal but surprisingly stout, a spectacular athlete and possesses the physicality needed to play inside. He ranks among the most under-appreciated players in the entire draft, regardless of position. – Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com

I think he wasn’t quite athletic enough. The times he flashed weren’t against the best opponents and we have about a 100 guys who can play DE. imo
