AgamemnonParticipantThanks for clearing that up Zn…So, it looks like Demoff is the resident capologist but he doesn’t put all the wording in the contract.
Demoff took on a lot of other duties with the move to LA. LA is his priority now. imo For example there were no early signings last year. They didn’t sign Jenkins, although they could have, because they did have enough cap space. imo If Fisher wanted him signed, then why wasn’t he signed? That is a big question mark for me.

AgamemnonParticipantInside the Rams from SCNG
EPISODE 20 – The Rams fire Jeff Fisher, a coaching search beginsAfter his 165th loss as an NFL coach, Jeff Fisher was fired by the Rams on Monday, and SCNG writers Ryan Kartje and Jack Wang break down the surprising — but ultimately inevitable — decision to let go of Fisher after five years of below-.500 football. They also discuss general manager Les Snead’s status, before welcoming on NFL columnist Vinny Bonsignore to break down the possible candidates to replace Fisher as Rams coach.

AgamemnonParticipantI had high hopes for Harkey.
He had such a powerful year way back when.
But i never hear much about him anymore.
What should the next coach do about Greg Robinson, Ag?
w
vMove him to DT.
His athletic ability doesn’t show up at LT. It might at DT. imo
AgamemnonParticipantNFL teams will end this season with approx. $200 million of unused Cap room. Cap room only meaningful if they spend it. https://t.co/LJydoqsJxW

Source: NFL teams were informed today the per-team salary cap for 2017 is projected to be $166 million to $170M. Up from $155.27M this year.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) December 13, 2016
That is $4M higher than it was before.

My problem with that is, I assume the dog was harassing the kangaroo first.
..
I thought the kangaroo was a bullie.

AgamemnonParticipantOr maybe they thought Goff needed a better coach? Goff wasn’t getting much help out there.
I doubt anyone expects that changes NOW.
I mean what are the odds?
…
I doubt that anything changes between NOW and the end of the year.
Wait. ED will be back at the games. 😉

AgamemnonParticipantI dont think it had anything to do with Goff. I think it was just the totality of the circumstances. The general, total, collapse.
A critical mass of ineptitude, bonehead plays, and outside pressure.
Now watch fassel win three in a row. Then what?

w
vDid you forget ED? huh? I don’t think you can discount Goff. He is like an elephant in the room. jGoff will have a huge effect on who the next coach and OC is. Of course, since it is LA, it will be a splash hire. imo

AgamemnonParticipantDemoff says one of the hallmarks of a Jeff Fisher team is that the players don't quit on him, and he does not believe that this team did.

Demoff: “I think it would be very unfair to say this team quit on Jeff Fisher.”
— Myles Simmons (@MylesASimmons) December 12, 2016
Rams will have practice starting shortly, then we’ll hear from players after. Following that, we’ll hear from interim HC John Fassel.
