RGIII, do you think if he was on a different team he may be able to turn it around? I think so.
I would certainly be willing to part with a 3rd rounder for him. He was exciting to watch and he was successful before he got hurt.

You bring him in, hand him a clipboard and say here, learn the position and then we’ll see.

I dunno. His star has fallen far.
Its not so much his physical issues for me,
but it looks like he’s become a Diva.

    I don’t know. A 4th, maybe… I just don’t know what his work attitude is.

He’s had injuries, that’s for certain, and people in the know are saying his mechanics are bad.

I think Snyder is part of the problem with that team, but he’s not on the field on Sundays. Griffin is. Snyder has certainly done his part to wreck that organization, though. Getting Griffin away from that organization could help him.

I doubt Washington shops Griffin, they’re so heavily invested in him. It’s so hard to just up and trade him. But benching him is a step in that direction. And who knows what the next off-season will bring.

I just don’t know… He could have a HUGE upside, but the downside is wasting a 4th rounder, and dealing with the media circus he brings with him.

Not even gonna get into the salary cap stuff with him and Bradford on the same team. Whew.

Not that high. Maybe a 6th or possibly a 5th with conditions. One, if he doesn’t work out he is cut immediately. So the price would have to be low enough that the Rams could afford to give up on Griffin.

I can’t see how both Gruden and Griffin can stay with the Redskins next season. If Gruden is fired then Griffin would have run two head coaches off in two years. If I were a top HC candidate there is no way I would take the Washington job. So Griffin would be in Washington with his third HC in three years. And the last one would not be a top tier HC. Geez.

Maybe start training camp with Bradford, Griffin, Davis, and Keenum might not be bad. It could work if Griffin becomes a team player and would be willing to play as the #2 QB if Bradford comes back without injury. Fisher might help him with his attitude.

5th or 6th for RGIII. How deliciously ironic. So we end up getting Brockers, Jenkins, Ogletree, Bailey, Stacy, Robinson, and RGIII for a 5th or 6th pick?

I might be willing to go a fifth. Most likely a sixth. His time in Washington is pretty much done. His coach doesn’t believe in him. He wasn’t a part of drafting him. His teammates have been tired of dealing with him for some time now. His former coach put his own glory ahead of Griffin’s health. There really isn’t much about the Redskin experience that has been good for Griffin’s development. I think he’s salvageable, but you had better have a great QB coach (which I’m don’t think we have) and a no-nonsense head coach (which I’m not sure we have). I’d take a chance on him as long as the price is reasonable. I don’t think a third is reasonable, and I’d do some serious teeth grinding over a fourth.

So, we all agree, that if the price is right we’d definitely take a flyer on RGIII. I think any team who brings him in is going to make it clear to him that he’s a project and he needs to prove himself and that he can work at his craft, learn what it takes to be a good NFL QB and keep his mouth shut.

I think a fourth is better or a fifth would be good. Fisher and Shotinheimer might be just what he needs.

Me? I would trade a 2nd round pick to guarantee he ends up on a different team, not the Rams.

I don’t want nothin to do with Mr. RG3.
